Nearly any song is better in a language other than English. English lacks passion and color and unfortunately it is the only language I speak with my lips, but I speak many others with my heart. Lara sings from her heart so it matters not what language she sings. She comes through loud and clear in any tongue.

Well, she doesnt really sound like Celine Dion really. Its mostly just that the accent is the same because they are both French. If you listen closely Lara sings a lot more from the diaphram and Celine uses a more nasal technique. With the accent though I can see how one might think them similar.

It isn't a question of it being better in French. I'm glad she interpreted it. Not understanding the language, I assumed it was a passionate love song. The French verson is beautiful. Lara sang it in English with a relatable edge-it spoke to my heart. Now when listening to it French it holds more meaning, rather than a superficial one. It's very easy to get carried away by a song's beauty; however not understanding what we're listening too has limitations. I appreciate Lara's artistry....

Singer/songwriter Bruce Roberts has written English lyrics for her also- I believe he interpreted Adagio to English. For Adagio, I love the Italian and English versions equally; but I did a blending of the two where parts are in either language... the song is a little longer but I get my fill from both all at one time. lol
