Here's what gets me: Is Batman AFRAID to kill? I always thought it was something he was bold enough to NOT do.

My conclusion is that it's the consequences he's afraid of, but I don't know. Is there something else behind it?

@GoldenFlither15 Remember how he spent years not just learning in theory how criminals but also IRL? Batman has, in his mind, both the means and the will to go all punisher should he ever lose his self-control. That´s why he´s so stern on the "no kill, no gun" principle. Thei´r mental tresholds, a sort of moral event horizone he has so he will never truly be as bad as those he hunt.

@GoldenFlither15 NP. well Jason did have a point there but i´m siding with Bats on this subject. If you have a Principle you have "set in stone" you should stick to it no matter what, since comromising that one would make it that much easier to comprimise all the others.
