i heard someone (a fan) screaming "Junior the quitter Witter!" at the end of the fight....but he made a good effort and was just outgunned..it look like he was more worried about getting away from Devon's offense and could'nt get off his own off

junior witter was receiving physeo whilst training for the devon alexander fight so was fighting whilst injuried also i find that witter is a natrall welter and leaves him self drain trying to make the weight... devon was on his game that night no disrespect to the man

Witter definately underestimated DA. Definately. He's been over here in the uk for weeks, talkin trash to khan about a unification bout. It was like DA didnt exsist. Hatton will never fight witter either, never. Apart from that, hatton said IF he does fight again it mght be in about a year!! Lol. That wud be a mistake, 4 sure. Shud retire.

junior is past it..but devon alexandr made him look old. props to devon good performance..at 22 years old to beat juniuor witter who like you say is really awkward that easily..even tho witter is 35..alexander has a really bright future.sad to see witter fight like he did he needs to retire now

I want Amir Khan to fight Devon soon, after Khan gets past Salita on the Cotto-Pacman card which Team Khan is trying to hook up.

yes devon vs kahn would be great they are both young and very talented..i agree amir kahn's amateur pedigree was a+ he knocked victo ortiz out in the amateurs

witter is not known for his power and he doesnt have good defense. at 35 its rare for guys to dominate. hes no shane mosley or hopkins and I dont see him coming back from this.

witter is still good but is past it now. i had the fight very close until it was stopped so its not like he got dominated. but there is no way to go for witter now so maybe he should call it a day

He was definitely in the fight. I just wonder why he would just quit like that in a world title fight.

yes. i remember back 4 years ago he was underrated, but with that said. he has played right into the critics hands by showing why he cant compete gainst top u.s fighters. I dont think a fight against hatton would be advised at this point, since hatton has way more power.

I think Khans promoter is not gonna let him fight Maidana any time soon. Too dangerous, I mean I am not sure they will even let khan rematch Prescott.

140 is a deep division and I would say Tim Bradley right now is that dude. Alexander is good too, love that kids story that was a very emotional and touching win. Even though Witter quit.

Definitely.  Khan vs Maidana should be really interesting, especially since Maidana basically called Khan a bum live on HBO. We'll see what happens.

wow. i didnt know maidana talked trash. i wouldnt be surprised if he did make khan kiss the canvas. maidana is agressive and doesnt have much to loose, unlike khan who is still trying to build respect.

I gotta give it up to Alexander, he faired on his own against Junior Witter I did hear he broke his hand or something but Alexander has a great future but the whole matchup Alexander was open for the right hook and Witter was opened up for the left hook but I think Alexander is the future Junior Witter should give it a try at 147 and call it a day
