One of my favourite Patti songs, accompanied by a slide show containing three tummy shots! Aren't I the lucky one :) I love that these pictures are a little bit blurry; it gives her an ethereal quality, and complements the crackle on the record too! Thanks for posting this :)
In the good old days, we unfortunately scratched our vinyls. You are listening to the original from the 1975 Horses LP, and as this is my favourite song from the LP, it has been played 1000's of times since 1975. I couldn't listen to this any other way. This LP has been played in many different places over the years, clubs, pubs, discos (we didn't have iPods or even cd's).
No point in uploading a digitally remastered version, simply wouldn't be the same.
I recorded this to my computer from the original record. You can hear the crackle. It sounds great playing it from the vinyl with 4 speakers blasting! Like you I am a great Patti fan. I just love listening to her music over and over again and of course she is the great poet of words. She is the best. My regret is I never saw her play live! Maybe some day!
fuck!
really poor audio quality!!!!!

Classic. Authentic crackle, authentic low quality pics. ;)

This is one of Patti's most beautiful songs. Richard's piano playing is exquisite. Horses is a masterpiece, if there ever was one.

Hahaha, the crackle doesn't give it authenticity, it's just annoying. Great song though.
