Well let me know when you're in a good mood, and i will send the stamp and envelope too! I can ship the book to you in the box it came in! IF you want to see it before you buy it; I do NOT see any other way cause I bougt it here = w w w DOT LuLu DOT com, and I was aprehensive never hearing about them; but they came through for me. This guy Fred is 62 and is a teacher of watchmaking and is sharp.
What is that white / square = cloth type paper material you put under the hands and over the enamel face to protect the face before you "pull" the hands? Where can I buy a small sheet?
@mig29jette The material I use is called mylar, double side matte. It is a plastic about .003 inch thick with both sides rough. I got it from where I used to work. It was used for drawing on. I used to use a piece of paper the same size but plastic will last forever. Maybe you can buy it at an Arts supply store or I could mail you a small piece if I am in a good mood.
hey i have a question for you, there was a elgin website that gave you info on models, dates, size, number of jewels....... any how i had it saved to my favorites and some how it's gone now and i can't find it. do you know what site i'm talking about and if so could you tell me the name of it ? thanks
@iamin2pain I know the site you are talking about and I have the same problem, no can view. I think the site is down. I think it is called elginwatches org, This was an excellent site and I used it also.
