  • lol it says "dick james"

  • had to be against ipswich

  • Amazing goal, but Ambrose vs Villa is better. The still isn't a better goal than Roberto Carlos vs France though.

  • RIP Doughty

  • What a goal!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • superb goal!

  • What a fucking bullet!

  • @baldybarton10 What a clever comment there

  • fucking belter

  • no.,.el mejor gool es el de roberto carlos.,.,.

  • If Ronaldo did this it would be remembered for ever !

  • Im a town fan, i was sitting behind that goal, and all we could do is stand and applaud because it was an incredible goal!

  • it's a pretty good freekick! if someone like Beckham had scored it all the glory supporting sky sports fans would be cumming in their pants over it.

  • How the fuck is that not as good as roberto carlos' ???

  • Its a great goal. but not better then the Roberto Carlos one.

  • There should've been a 3 man wall.

  • @squibmalik a goalkeep wouldn't put a 3 man wall for a 35 yard free-kick..

  • Welcome to Newcastle.

  • @MX5JJ aha, no.

  • @schofield2456 Aha, yes.

  • @MX5JJ ha ha no

  • Not better than Roberto Carlos's free-kick (imho), but it's a great freekick.

  • Superb technique. But from a defensive perspective, surely there should have been at least 4 players forming the wall.

  • @gtmthegreat i think if anyone got in the way of that they would have been instantly knocked out

  • @gtmthegreat it was so far out they thought that it they would only need 2

  • The technique is called "os tres dedos" which translates as "three little toes". Because thats what you kick the ball with.

Forget Carlos, the "os tres dedos" master was Rivelino.

  • Er - it's just that one of them is left footed and the other is right footed. If the above freekick has been on the other side of the goal then McGugan would have gone outside the wall and in, Carlos would have done the above. It's solely dependent upon which foot they use, the technique is EXACTLY the same.

  • whats the music all about? im from nottingham and robin hoods not all about nottingham, noone gives a shit

  • @NFFCKido

forest ran out to this tune for years.

way back when you were in your smack addict paraplegic mother's womb.

  • @NFFCKido Learn about your team?

  • YOUUU REDDSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!! top that rooney ;)

  • Thats why Im a forest fan ! YOU REDS <3

  • Whats the crap music about?

  • Really amazing, but you shouldn't say its better than Carlos', since his curved in the other direction, looking like it was going out of the goal, but instead going in. Different type of free kick curve.

  • @killthrillabs not at all, both get the curve from the way the kick it with the outside of the boot.

  • @xm45x Watch carefully, carlos' free kick curves around the outside of the wall. This free kick goes around the inside to the corner of the goal.

  • @killthrillabs While that is true, watch even closer... both hit with the outside of the boot

  • @xm45x Yup.. but they still curve differently.

  • @killthrillabs they hit it with the opposite foot. McGugan with his right Carlos with his left, both hit with the outside of the foot. The ball curved away from the foot the kicked it with then back towards the foot they kicked it with. Same exact curve.

  • @xm45x No, the curve technique and direction are the same, just the direction around the wall, also the direction the ball came in to the goal.
