  • Funny show.

  • I remember that dog

  • They messed up the DVD version by using a totally rewritten song. This one is the best.

  • @shannonm75 I totally agree. They didn't technically mess up though. Warner Bros. didn't want to pay the licensing costs for "Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da", after all, those Beatles songs cost quite a bit I would imagine. They should have just paid anyway.

  • @hwadecarmichel yeah or I imagined some lazy guy that's responsible didn't want to get the licensing cuz he was lazy...oh well the orig. song intro is here.

  • 8 people are Ra-Tards

  • a two minute opening... that would NEVER happen today, people have a 30 second attention span at most.

  • @shaun3701 How about The Sporanos ?:]

  • @shaun3701 I know, I hate how now you might get an opening scene, which then dissolves to just the title card. The credits are reserved for the next scene after the commercial break. I miss creative opening credits.

  • shaun3701 ----30 seconds maybe you are giving people too much credit -- it is far less

  • Derp!

  • This show made retarded people cool.

  • "YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENTH!"

    (Sorry. Can't help it.)

  • @TheConciseStatement dont be sorry, i agree..retards are hilarious

  • @Aljazhhh Just think, we could have a cozy little house, and raise our children to scream in the faces of the very elderly and to mock and mock and mock, til people curl up into little assballs. If only you weren't all the way in Slovenia! lol. :)

  • Boy, they sure did a good job fucking up a classic tune. Reminds me up music class in grade school.

  • 1:26

  • LMAO i use to wacth this shit.

  • corky was an ugly dumb fuck

  • I see Corky in NYC all the time.

  • I love you Corky! >_<!

  • Every day we wake up with breath in our lungs is a miracle. We have the ability to speak, understand, and...write. Some of you use the latter ability to completely destroy one another for things as uncontrollable as Down Syndrome. For that, I am utterly at a loss for proper words to convey the impact a few scrawled lines of text makes on a persons life. Though, I seriously doubt that any of you give a fuck. Pathetic....simply for lack of better words.

  • I REMEMBER THIS SHOW

  • THIS WAS MY SHIT

  • Did they have to give him a name like "Corky"? At least something more dignified

  • Fuck Yeah Corky Rocks!!! He's way better than that poser on that Garth Brooks video!

  • Corky... well yeah, he visited my school a few months back. It was very nice.

  • @MrAsshole1977

    No...

people like you need to be castrated and shot.

  • @blossom114 and bitches like you need to learn their place in society and that is in the bed with your legs spread pleasuring men

  • Comment removed

  • @MrAsshole1977 And you are, MrAsshole? Is it an act, or are you really THAT chauvinistic guy?

  • @MrAsshole1977

No thanks. You're a dickwad and belong in jail getting sodomized.

  • @MrAsshole1977 I lovee people like you, people with such an inflated ego and distorted view that you think you are invincible and can get away with whatever the fuck you want. Thank God the morgue is chock fuckin full of scum just like you. When you look up from that body bag, through those cow hide eyes, Ill be there smiling.

  • This must be from the first season or two because Becca looks young as hell. I loved Becca...

  • I have a disablity and I know how rough it is dealing with people. people r so judgemental.

  • is dat wun dud corky ritartid?

  • My point being that this guy is intelligent and is a working, productive member of society who has overcome the odds that society places before handicapped people. There is a serious lack of acceptance for handicapped people, and I'm proud to see those who are handicapped aim for broader horizons than just being placed at Goodwill, making executives big bucks. (Yes, some benefit, but most are placed there indefinitely, never realizing their full potential..)

  • @nebrpo- MY point is that if you do care about them as a collective group, then you will also care about how they treat everyone instead of just you and the immediate people around you and them. Some of them SEEM nice and decent, but again, I repeat, if you care about all of them, then you will care about encouraging those who are bullies due to their disabilities to NOT be bullies. I can't tell you how many times I've seen handicapped people bully others. Enrages me. People are SO blind.

  • @DayMare2000 I've dealt with the bullies who abues their handicap, and it tick me off, too. However, I'm talking about those who DON'T abuse other, yet are abused, nevertheless. Just like when I try to go out for a ride on my bike and have people in their vehicles almost run me over, because there are bicyclists who are abusive and disobey traffic signals, etc. I'm saying why should those who ARE decent human beings and respectable have to account for the others w3ho are punks???

  • @nebrpo- I know where you are coming from, but I'm coming from another standpoint. I think it's WORSE for those who DO have a handicap to use that as a means of tricking people because they already have an inclination of sympathy from others who DO care. Non-handicapped people don't have that inclination, so they get away with less. Pisses me off.

I feel sorry for no one, really. If someone wants to be seen as an equal, they should defend themselves as an equal would, too.

  • @DayMare2000 Nobody needs to be abused, because of their generalizations and/or affiliations...not even handicapped. Race, religion, creed, etc. should not automatically factor in as a pre-ordained judgment against anyone, especially those who have no choice. I will not defend those who don't deserve it, but will stand up for anyone who is abused, due to something beyond their status of birth. When looking for the evil in society, they can be found in every shape, color, etc.

  • @nebrpo- Nobody "needs to". Evidently not. Nonetheless, it still happens, hence my utmost hatred for all humanity.

Exactly my point. I'm just tired of it all. I don't judge - I dislike everyone until a reason for me to feel otherwise presents itself.

  • @DayMare2000 I don't encourage anyone to be a bully. Again, I have worked with these people, and have seen the worst of them who get away with worse-than-murder, because they are "special," and I certainly disapprove of that, because they are conniving enough to commit the crimes, but exonerated by virtue of handicap. Moreover, I think those who abuse anyone who differ from them, because of their difference is blind, regardless of whatever situation to which it relates.

  • @nebrpo- Hm. You worked with these people who abused their handicap. What did you do about it?

  • What's strange is that I once had a textbook in a class that I took in high school that referred to the term "mongoloid" as a word that describes the orientals. I wasn't necessarily sure what to make of it. I told someone else about this reference in my textbook - which, ironically, I was not allowed to take home for study (hm) - and they exclaimed that mongoloid was a term that referred to people with Downs Syndrome. I don't remember how old the book was, but I did find the terminology odd....

  • i think this guy that plays corky is the president of special olympics

  • oh. this is the show with that retard.

  • CORKY WROTE THIS SONG WITH PAUL

  • The people who don't accept people diagnosed with Down's Syndrome is truly the "retarded" person, as they are genuine; beautiful, blameless souls who are eager to learn, in order to prove themselves. I've seen none of these people affected by the diagnosis who aren't striving to be productive members of society. They haven't the time to sit around and make derogatory remarks about others, because they are too busy helping other enhance their lives. We could all learn from these individuals.

  • @nebrpo- Not all people with disabilities are blameless. It's one thing to support people who have disabilities of any kind, but another thing entirely to idolize them. I have met many handicapped people and guess what? SOME of them are manipulative and sneaky because of people like YOU - people who are so bent on helping them that you forget that non-handicapped people deserve respect too. Not all people are ignorant. A lot, but not all. Everyone deserves respect, not just the handicapped....

  • @DayMare2000 My point is that just because someone has a difference they shouldn't be downcast by society. I have worked with developmentally disabled and seen the ones who are difficult to manage, and I surely don't feel sorry for them. However, I don't believe people should place themselves above another person, due to their differences, whether it be finances, disability...whatever. I am defending the majority of Downs Syndrome people, who happen to be human beings, despite their handicap.

  • @nebrpo- "who happen to be human beings-" exactly my point. They are human beings despite their handicap, so they do not need special treatment. Special treatment is demeaning. I treat all people the same, regardless of their difficulties. That means that if I see someone who is handicapped - or not, either way - being a jerk, I will call them out on it, as I have done so before and will rightfully do again.

Just saying. I HATE pity and I hate people who receive it and feed off of it, too.

  • @DayMare2000 A little insight...I was born with a substantial portion of my body missing, the most obvious thing being some of my left arm, and my hand is fused, making it look like I have a turkey drumstick. One of the WORST things I can hear is the term "special." I am no more special than the next, nor do I like to hear other handicapped people "special." I, too, marvel at the accomplishments that people like Nick Vujicic and Robin Tovey achieve, but never consider them special.

  • @nebrpo being called special...too-long-a-day!!!

  • @nebrpo- Yeah, that never made sense to me. What about calling them special even makes sense in the first place? None of it does. As far as I'm concerned, no one is really "special", and MOST people just suck. It's almost an illusion. Talented - maybe, for some, but not special.

I'm not even elderly and I am fed up with mankind. I've gotten to the point to where I don't care who someone is; most people put me in a foul mood just because they speak to me.

  • @nebrpo- As long as you haven't used your disadvantage to manipulate others, then I don't have anything against you, but I do reiterate that I have the utmost hatred for people who make an entire group look bad. Since there are minorities in almost anything - most evidently - it enrages me to think that the majorities not only make life difficult for the minorities in their own group who are faced with stigma as well as those that they manipulate with their own downfalls. It's disgusting.

  • @DayMare2000 I do consider them to be inspiring; however, because they aren't moping around feeling sorry for themselves, nor are they leeches of society.

  • @nebrpo- As you have said before. Nevertheless, I encourage you to keep your eyes peeled because some of them are NOT what they seem. Some of them use their disabilities to trick others. I've seen it. If you DO care about them, then you would care what kind of a person they are and how they treat people. All of them. Not just the majority, but the minority, too - that means, even those who are guilty of mistreating non-handicapped people...

  • What a piece of shit he is. A piece of shit. Excrement. Flush him in the fuckin toilet. He could eat shit and die being a piece of shit that he is. A piece of cocksucking shit. Eat shit and die you piece of cocksucking shit.

  • i have never been more disgusted by a bunch of posts... Chris Burke is a VERY intelligent HUMAN BEING with feelings and secondly, QUIT! using the word "RETARDED" because that is just as derogatory ... GROW UP EVERYONE!

  • @Acadian78 RETARDED RETARDED RETARDED RETARDED RETARDED RETARDED RETARDED. Next you'll want us to stop calling babies born out of wedlock bastards

  • @Acadian78 Well the truth of the matter is that Chris Burke is more intelligent than about 98% of the people who have commented on this video. Those are the facts folks. Deal with it.

  • @bowened21 The minute someone speaks out against another less-fortunate than they is when THEY prove they are the ones below....

  • @nebrpo- Unless the person that they are speaking against deserves it. Some people who are less-fortunate are jerks about it and are abusive and manipulative. I would know. I've known people like that. If one truly believes they are equals, then they should be treated like they are, instead of being catered to.

    Hope you know that.

  • @DayMare2000 Treat a jerk like a jerk; however, there is no reason to abuse those who ARE blameless and innocent.

  • @nebrpo- I haven't abused those who are blameless and innocent. I only hate those who are guilty, and there are more of them out there than you think. You cannot take people at face value. Just because you find them inspiring doesn't mean that they aren't making someone else miserable.

  • @Acadian78- "Retarded" is sometimes used as a joke between people who find it funny. Unless it's being used as an insult or an attack against someone, no one - *no one* - should get their panties in a twist over it. I know that there are people out there who get upset just by the word, even when someone ISN'T being ridiculed, which is extremely ridiculous. Just because you and others don't find it funny, doesn't mean that you need to throw a tantrum over it. Doing so is aimless.

  • @Acadian78 I hate to tell you but, untill this world ends there will always be these kind of disturbed individuals. People who honestly dont care about anyone or anything but themselves. This whole goddamn planet should burn and i hope every moral, good-hearted, honest, mistreated, murdered, bullyied person is saved and there to watch as retribution is finally achieved and this cess pool of derranged shells of what humans should have been die.

  • lol i remmeber this from childhood! haha, great show:)

  • dog is like fuck it i give up!

  • that dog looked hungry

  • I love BeccA!!

  • CORKY for PRESIDENT! MOTHERFUCKERS XP

  • PERFECTO ESTE PROGRAMA . LO VEIA CUANDO ME RECURE DE LA LOBOTOMIA QUE ME PRACTICARON EN EL HOSPITAL . CORKI ES COMO TINELLI. TIENE QUE ESTAR SIEMPRE

  • Kellie Martin worried about her body... wonder if that will lead to anything... hey at least i didnt make fun of corky. why would i? he was the shit.

  • I still don't get how the greatest band ever could write such a shitty song.

  • Life doesn't go on after you watch this intro, and blow your brains out.

  • At least he gets an extra wiener, because he has teh downs and all.

  • How do they make all those people with Down's Syndrome all look the same?

  • were they serious at 1:22???

  • @drummer1200 it is really bizarre. I don't even understand what they were trying to get across with that freaky exchange.

  • will someone feed the damn dog

  • @mdgtrpckr I didn't know John McCain starred in a television show. He went from Corky to presidential candidate. If he runs again and wins, he will be our first Down's Syndrome president. Shall we vote for the worst? Well that would be Sarah Palin, mother of Down's Syndrome kid.

  • My older brother calls me Corky, it's suppoused to be an offense, but i don't consider him neither myself retarded... it just my brother is an idiot :-|

  • @Duane4AK This was mostly a 90s show. Three of its four season aired in the 90s.

By the way, the 80s was a great decade the last era of creativity and originality. Now all we have is all this blain, repeated, banal bullshit.

  • God created "normal" people to help the more challenged people. It's just that healthy people are too busy hurting one another to try to have good feelings for someone else. Challenged people are better than you or me because God knew those people are strong enough to live with that, we wouldn’t be able to. But you or anyone else are free to believe whatever you prefer. God bless people with Down syndrome or any other diseases or disorders.

  • Nice of you to say, but god didn't create anything

  • @castlemedic if that is what you prefer to believe, it is up to you.

  • @XoXoKarinaKGXoXo Well you're contrasting scientific mental disorders to people who don't have them, and claiming that a god created people without mental disorders to help the unfortunate souls who he created WITH mental disorders. I think even hard-lined Christians would be appalled at this theory, in acknowledging the calculated decision for your god to curse people with such disabilities. Fortunately humanity has prevailed, and people with disorders can live normal lives... without god.

  • @XoXoKarinaKGXoXo

    god didn´t created the human.

    human created god.

  • @Frater666777 Well sweetheart, God is real whether you believe in him or not, and he created "normal" people, but the human body is very complicated. There are so many diseases and disorders and that is part of life. Down syndrome is just a chromosomal disorder caused by the presence of all or part of an extra 21st chromosome.

  • Spastics must die. Zyklon B

  • THNK'S FOR PUTTING THIS VIDEO UP, I USE TO WATCH THIS SHOW EVERY WEEKEND! =^..^=

  • song ? obladi oblada - ?

  • They sound ungodly.

  • @Frater666777 Well if you believe in god, then it's a pretty fucked up god who gives someone down syndrome.

  • @hschan4 I don't believe in God precisely because of these reasons. If god were real, 'Corky' wouldn't have Down's Syndrome.

  • @Frater666777 Unless he is that vindictive god from the old testament.

  • @hschan4 "ah, but god has a special plan for people with downs syndrome" sorry, i couldn't resist doing a parody of christian dipshits.

  • I used to watch this sometimes. I felt sorry for the Corky guy. Especially because there's a popular chips here of the same name. It was brave and fun but I'm not sure why they made this series, did they want people to accept mongloid people, feel sorry for them or to laugh at them? Because they knew they would get some critism.

  • This is one of my all time favorite shows! I read that the pilot episode is the only one on DVD with the original song and a replacement theme was created for all other episodes due to high licensing costs for the Beatles song.

  • God, did TV theme openers use to be really long!

  • Didnt Obama just nominate Corky as a Supreme Court justice?

  • Hahha Epic Beatles song. One of my favorite songs from them too :P

  • that poor dog still aint getting his damn food

  • Some of you people are very mean, at least Corkys heart isnt retarded.

  • kocham to, i love this :D Corky rules!! /kocham pieścić moje korki

  • I love you, Corky

  • Chris Burke is awesome, I used to see him around town where I grew up

  • For all of you morons on here making fun of those with disabilities - you will think differently when you have a disabled child or grandchild.

  • don't worry that zit is nothing compared to you...well...corky

  • HEY!! BECAaa lol

  • Miss this show...

  • 1:21----> HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

    funny zoom in haha

  • lol

  • Lol! So true

  • "come on, where are you guys already?"

Seeing that the dad is shirtless, I think he has them.

  • Whoever is singing "LIfe Goes on" is doing a horrible job

  • The cast is singing the song..it wasn't supposed to be wonderful..just the cast having fun!

  • @taurusfroggy Its NOT PC to call it horrible the correct term is FUCKING RETARDED!

  • I hated the mouth-breathing mother. She'd always have this look, "I'm so tired being such a good mom to my retard kid and teenaged daughter with my silicone injected lower lip... I am such a martyr... durrr."

  • Don't they ever feed their dog? Animal abusers!

  • I prefer the simple yet effective Tard. Chris don't look directly in to the camera! It takes the audience out of the scene.. Oh you're just cross eyed.. Sorry!
