  • its not rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HOLLYWOOO!!!!!

  • There have bben so many great fil composers and I love listening to their work. Every time you hear a Williams score though, it reminds you that the master is in the house.

  • Great piece of march music!

  • @AljoniMusiCo it is.. but bad quality here.. i have it on a CD of Williams music..

  • 2 people are german.

  • @puppetsosocks I am German.

  • This movie is hilarious. I love military comedies, and I have to say...this is definately my favorite! Oh, and it is also THE BEST Christmas movie of all time!

  • I don't care what the public opinion or anyone says, 1941 is Steven Spielberg's best movie hands down, and all in all one of the best comedy films ever.

  • '1941' is a GREAT movie; regardless of how well it did at the box office!

  • A NATSI!! gotta love Slim Pickins!

  • if you like this, you may like THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING, THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING, from the '60s.

  • I find it strange that in his previous movie, Animal House, John Belushi is under the impression that the Germans were the ones who bombed Pearl Harbor. I am convinced to this day because of that one line, he got the part of Wild Bill Kelso who is after the Japs who bombed Pearl Harbor.

  • I love how Belushi is lost while flying over the Grand Canyon. Only the biggest landmark in the country. Also, I wonder if hat M-3 was "Lulu" by any chance (the tank from Bogart's movie Saraha)

  • HOLLYWOOOD!!!

1941 is my favrite movie and the theme song is great

  • Truly fantastic especially the ending with the house sliding over the cliff

  • This movie is a mess.....but my kind of mess

  • 2 people are japenese

  • look at torpedo the line is see able

  • Horrywoood...

  • I met and befriended Walter Olkewicz who played the character Hinshaw (John Candy's sidekick) I found out something about this Movie. I had a feeling about this movie so I asked him if there was as much Cocaine floating around that set as there seemed to be. He frowned at me and slowly nodded his head. That explained all the screaming in this movie, as made apparent during the closing credits. Still, One of my favorite comedies. Wild Bill Kelso is my hero!

  • "A NAHZI!!!" YA"LL IN CAHOOTS!!!" LOL! Hollis Wood.

  • Always a HUGE Spielberg/Williams fan...but this is one I've never seen. Living in the "boonies" when it was released. I've seen maybe 3 minutes worth on television, but I'm not going to watch a film all butchered up with commercials and "edited for content". I have enjoyed the music from my old Spielberg/Williams Collaboration CD though.

  • @195511SM Trust me, track down the DVD. Saw it in Theaters when I was about six. Saw it a couple times since. Great, fun movie. Sheer demented brilliance. And Spielberg directed!

  • looks like your tank got a new make over

  • Excellent video! Thanks! I was always bummed that 1941 flopped, I just love it! All kinds of silliness, great special effects (No CGI), fantastic music, a great dance number, and for out and out goofy mayhem and panic and destruction I can't think of many films that come close. The Blues Brothers perhaps.

I see someone down below has the Baby Wolf comment. : D

-Many great lines. "That --- is the craziest son of a bitch I've ever seen."

"Get dem cockroaches out of dat flour sack!"

    : D

  • GET IN THE BACK OF THE TANK

  • Very underrated movie, i enjoyed this one.

  • One of my all time favorite Christmas movies and Steven Spielberg's single most underrated film of all time!

  • @TheAltair4

I agree, i enjoyed this since i was a teenager and one of my fave underrated movies. Eddie Deezen is in this movie too as well as John Candy.

  • @Johnlindsey289 Eddie Deezen was hysterical in this movie. He was also in Midnight Madness, another childhood favorite of mine.

  • P-40 Warhawk baybeee-

  • im 13 and i watched and loved this movie. movies will never be the same ever again

  • Oh look! It's a baby wolf!

  • "colonel maddox" i lolve that name

  • To heck with the critics, 1941 is quintessentially a great bad movie to indulge to! Spielberg has done WAY more worse with the likes of Hook, Twighlight Zone, and Lost World: Jurassic Park.

  • I don't care what anyone thinks this is one of my favorite movies and if this is Steven Spielbergs worse then I have got to see his best (probably have anyways.)

  • I am surprised that Im not the only one who remembers this from my childhood. Gr8 upload! HOLYWOOOOOD!!!!!!!

  • First movie I saw in a theater without my parents!! I've heard Williams say it is his favorite march... My wife fails to see the humor when I bring this out to watch as a "Christmas Movie"....

  • I like to think that Belushi killed everyone on board that sub

  • Spielberg has a U-Boat.

He used it in "Raiders Of The Lost Ark"

He also scoured all over Europe looking for authentic German Panzer for his,

    "Saving Private Ryan"

    The "Tiger Tanks"?

Russian T-34's dressed up to look like tigers.

He got one from Romania that was used in the movie "Kelly's Heroes".

  • @Valkyrie801 Yugoslav T-34s were used in Kelly's Heroes.

  • They take an US M-3 Grant tank, run it through a paint factory take it onto a pier to attack a Japanese submarine "Which by the way is actually a German U-Boat" and it all ends up in the the Pacific Ocean!

What is not to LOVE about this!

  • This theme by John Williams is actually quite difficult to play.

Any band from a High School, all the way up to The London Philharmonic has to take a long break after they play this one!

  • The music was certainly better than the movie. This is one of John William's best marches.

I can understand, though, why the movie flopped here and was more popular outside of the U.S. market.

  • Believe this movie one of my all time favorites didn't do too well box office wisa in the states but was a hit with the European Market.

  • "My name is Wild Bill Kelso and don't you... Shoot, Alright turn this tub around, you're taking me to Tokyo!!!" Anyone got a light? LMAO

  • No movie directed by spielberg and scored by John Williams can be bad. It's just not possible....

  • @Mr7xchamp Calling it his worst film in no way means it's a bad movie.

On the contrary, 1941 is hilarious! A great movie.

  • @Willy105 I never said it was a bad movie. Other people have and that is what I'm disputing. 1941 is one of my all time favorite movies...

  • I love this film. I saw it on it's opening weekend.

  • Never thought this flick got it's rightful attention.

  • Guess I need to mention John Williams. Hes a musical god.. He can make a good movie a great movie just by writing excellent music for the soundtrack.

  • even if its his worst film, Spielberg is an amazing director/producer. This movie is still better than most comedy movies out today.

  • I fucking love this movie! Great tribute. This is the best mayhem movie I have seen.

  • 3:03 Lol - one of my favorite scenes ever.

  • WOW Thanx Dude 4 upload

this movie is favoured since childhood (german englisch - sorry)

awesome soundtrack by Williams and great casts

..:: den Film hab ich als Kind gesehen und ist heute immer noch an erster Stelle ::..
