I also love this rendition of the song. I don't remember this song from years ago. I listened to a few other videos of this song, and they were uneventful. I really like this one.
"Engrish?" & "Jap like?" boy...'SonicSnake' & toocooldance...wow, you lads are some pretty ignorant mutherfuckers. Do us all a favour, yourselves especially and wisen up!
ah yea, sorry for my ignorance like 8 months back. now that i've listened to more jap bossa nova musicians and yea pretty good stuff. the accent though was never a problem, i was just pointint out on how it would sound better. overall cover is still one of the best i've ever heard. yet again excuse my ignorance.
Sorry for my ignorance too. I was more focused on the guitars than the singing, and I still am mesmerised with the guitar wizardry even now. Nevertheless, I love bossa nova ever since I first heard it several years ago and with the emergence of bossa nova in Asia, I'm more proud as an Asian to hear bossa nova from Asia, particularly from Japan and South Korea.
Not bad, not bad. Brother can hit all the right notes, that's for sure. He's got good range for R&B, and I agree his native language might've been better. But then again, maybe the only way to do Stevie is in English. Either way, this kat's an awesome musician
Actually, in the music version there's supposed to be some drumming during the first minute. For some reason, this MV didn't show the nice drumming... would have gone well with the guitar entering after the 1-minute mark.
you know if you think about it, if his accent weren't so jap like, it would actually be one of the better covers, because he sings in "bossa nova" like voice, which does well with the guitar skills he has. secondly i don't think he should've entered the song without an instrumentation till like 1 min, he shouldve started the song with the guitar part, anyway good try on it.

As an insanely insane Stevie Lover and a very serious fan of Bossa Nova in the form of Tom Jobim, I saw plenty of good in this song.

He should stick to singing Japanese... his Engrish sure dismembered the song, and only his mastery in bossa nova guitarship saved this song.

Hmm, it's alright. Not the best version of the song I've ever heard. I didn't love it. But I didn't really hate it either.
