  • nvm they r not the ones i hav around...and i think ive found one about one inch and pretty a fascinating eater...it layed eggs but i let them go.

  • OHHH MYYY JESUS!!!!

Lmao. I'm so scared of spiders! :b

I would be so paranoid, if I went to bed knowing that a big spider like that one was in the room! :b

    -Mek.

  • @CoolageBrothers, Not at All, I have sometimes left the Lid Open and This Spider Escaped when it was Smaller, and I Found it on the Curtain in the Morning, and just put it back. Good Luck.

  • @BumbleBrook what if he molested you in your sleep?thats a bad bad spider

  • @BumbleBrook yeah, i see alot of thiny ones hanging around. but never saw one of 7cm!! only 4 or 5cm

  • @Deathkillazz, Good, Make Sure They get fed plenty of flies.

  • @BumbleBrook wow ive seen mines at on about say 6 cm lol but they r actually pretty big...

  • where do you find nurserey web spiders? wanna have one. and are they agressive or not, and if i got bitten, should i get medical attention directly or can it wait?

  • @Deathkillazz, Absolutly NonVenomous, They don't Bite, so theres nothing to be scared of, I Found This One when it was Tiny Around Open Swamp and Gorse, (Very Hard to Find at this Size.

  • oh and ive been finding alot of white tail spiders in my house...should i take it serious if im bitten by one?

  • I haven't Found any in the Last Months, Luckily, the Bites are Really Unpredictable, They can be like this Really: 1_2_3_4_5_6_7_8_9_10

This is the Easiest way to Put it, They can be very Minor or Quite Major. There are Lots of Things that could happen. (Just don't get Bitten, Have a Can Of Insect Repellant next You at the Ready Haha. -__-.

  • If You have Daddy Long-Legs in Your House, They are Perfect for Dealting With White Tails.

  • we dont have many daddy long legs...the majority we have seen are white tail spiders...but yeah i wouldnt want to get bit by one...i used to squash them but i heard they release their eggs when there squashed...so ive been putting them in a container with eachother. i had 5 in 1 container but 3 have been eaten.

  • Yeah, Thats a Good Idea, Unfortanely We don't get many White Tails Inside anymore so We do not get the Chance to That, Haha. -__-.

The most I've ever Found in One Day, is Four I Think.....

  • how often did u feed this spider in a day when it was a baby? i have one but i think its a baby because its really small.

  • How Big is It?. (MMs Or CMs Would Help).

  • @BumbleBrook its 1cm long. i found it running on the tennis court which was near the creek.

  • That sounds about Right, My Two are 2 Cm Long in Legspan, I Feed Them On Average Three Times a Week, or whenever I Find Flies in The House, You May be Mistaking Your Spider for a Wolf Spider, They are Very Similar in Appearance and Run Along the Ground in Long Bursts, Very Fast, also 1 CM.

  • The Two I am Talking about are My Newer Ones. Thanks.

  • damn my spider is dead...it must of died of starvation...thats the only way i could think of...but i think it was a wolf spider because it had the 1 stripe on its back. damn i was hoping to see it grow like yours...hopefully ill be lucky enough to find another one.

    thanks

  • Don't Worry about it, it was actually a Wolf Spider, there Stripes down Them are more Broad, and They don't get too Big, But can be Fun to Watch, (I wouldn't Mind having one Myself Actually) -__-.

The only way I can Think of its Mysterious Passing is it Died of Thirst because it was too Hot or Lack of Food, if it had all of its Legs Withdrawn that would be the Case.

These Nursery Web Spiders are as Tough as Nails, Eat any other Spider.

  • yeah some of his legs were torn apart...i didnt know they drink water.

after watching your vids i want to find a nursery web...i dont think il be able to find one though...sounds hard to find.

    thanks

  • You have to Look in the Right Place, You would be Lucky to Find Them in the Garden, although We have Manderine Plants at the Back, And We have some N-W Spiders on Them, One was 2CMs in Legspan, I'm not saying You need to But Them, You will often find a Large White Attached to the Top of a Plant, Look Around those Areas, And if Your Lucky One May Build One in You Garden, Come out at Night, And that could be Your Golden Oppurtunity.

  • Wolf Spiders are the Easiest Spiders to Find aswell. Nursery Web Spiders can be not only a Mission to Find, but also a Hassle to Try and Catch. And Theres about 1/20 That You would Find it Large. Good Luck.

  • Yeah it could be a wolf spider, i cant tell but it does run in fast burst. I have it in a jar...and put i a little moth inside hoping it will eat it, but it hasnt yet. Any suggestions on what i can feed it since its quite small? I want to watch it grow like your spider.

I like your vids by the way

  • lol brooke u crack me uhp not so into spiders but very nice presentation:D

  • where in nz did u find that spider?

  • In New Plymouth I think You find more around Auckland, Athough there all over the place.

  • Sorry I thought You were meaning White Tailed Spider.

Yes I found it in New Plymouth, and these are Common in Certain Areas, Thanks.

  • wow that spider is freakin huge! has it ever bit u?

  • Nop, but I wouldn't want want to see what it feels like,

Na, it can actually tell what not to eat, if I touched on the leg with a spoon it would quickly turn around and grab it but then it would reliase its not food so it would let go. -_-

  • sorry the fishing spider is aka as swamp or raft spider..

  • This looks like a fishing spider =/ not a nursery web spider.. just check it out please..

  • ikr i always wanted a pet spider but my lil sis is to scared of em but just ait ima get 1 sooner or later >8D

  • If there in their Enclosure there really fun, find the right type of Spider and You can watch their habits and become famaliar with Spiders, most Spiders don't bite anyway, even a Tarantula would make a Great Pet, if You are in US.

  • Or Aussie.

  • Cool I'd love to have a pet spider but my mom would probably kill it =_=

  • I know they really are a great Pet, luckily for me nobody minds the Spiders, infact they enjoy watching it in 'action'. they really are not much work, and when there in their Enclosure its all fun. Thanks.

  • oh c'mon its easy to sneak even a large Dolomedes into a house! Just put it in a jar and carry it in your pocket man! Then get a nice habitat for it ;)

  • Thats pretty much what I did except I put in in a small container and didn't put in My pocket.

    `_`.

  • UUee SSSHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....
