  • If Ron Paul loses i guarantee this country/empire is done!!!

  • I am partial to a bit of theoretical libertarianism myself but there are so many people who depend upon the tit of the government to come and wipe their arses for them using taxpayers' money when their supposed freedom-loving choices lead them to come to harm that I must explain my position as being more of a pragmatic one. If HPV was an airborne virus that caused no symptoms but caused women exposed to it to develop cancer years later, then the principled opposition to the HPV vaccine ....

  • isnt he a gynaecologist? shouldnt he know how much cervical cancer costs to treat? reducing the chances and maybe even stopping the spread of HPV. thats a bad thing?

  • Yeah, I'm going to have to disagree with Paul on this one. For the same reason you give children a polio vaccine, or any other vaccine, ANY vaccine is a good matter of public policy IF it is proven to be effective.

  • @UPplRSick So you think it's OK for the federal government to MANDATE that your child gets something that may or may not hurt them in the long run? Isn't that a parental right? The fact here is that big Pharma gets BILLIONS, even TRILLIONS of dollars off vaccinations. My other had all the childhood diseases and she is 93 and going strong. Her Dr. says it's because of these diseases that she has a strong immune system.

  • @MeteorMega - I'm sorry, what other vaccines are you keeping from your daughter because you feel like she might never need them. Are you not presuming the life your daughter will lead? Why even take the chance if the vaccine is proven effective and safe? Seriously, don't schools require certain vaccinations, for public health reasons? You're being uptight because this vaccine relates to a STD. And big pharma is not the problem in this situation. Your body can't heal HPV.

  • @UPplRSick What proof do you have that the vaccines are safe and effective? Other than medical sanction from 'salaried' professionals?

Do you even know what they contain?

I love reading these 'informed' comments from the ill-informed.

  • @hadyanth - Oh that's an easy one. Vaccines are a batch of dead/weakened pathogens or an agent that would stimulate the bodies immune system against the targeted pathogen. The polio vaccination was quite popular I hear. Small Pox vaccination was quite popular. Check out wikipedia or an encyclopedia and learn all about the wonderful world of modern medicine and vaccinations. Asking 'what proof do you have' about this subject is a willful delusion about reality.

  • @UPplRSick Sorry but you're precisely the kind of person I expect the following from when the truth/sh*t hits the fan:

"How was I supposed to know that, it didn't say it on wiki"

"If they didn't put it on the news then it's just a conspiracy theory"

"I can't believe I was blind enough to just believe what I was told/read"

Spare me the wikipedia drivel, get yourself some real knowledge and then I'm sure you will be intrigued.

  • @UPplRSick Right off the internet word for word. Check out all the warnings for any of the advertised drugs. They even say "in some cases death may occur". Did you know that the drug companies actually figure the price of lawsuits into the price of their drugs before they even release them? Have you read the studies about anti-depressants? Seems a placebo works just fine according to a Harvard professor. He believes that most prescription medications don't work as advertised. Big biz.

  • @MeteorMega - Hey, I'm not going to defend big pharma, or their greed, or how that greed could and does interfere with how the science of medicine should progress. It obviously does. However, I am saying that there are vaccines currently available that have been proven to work. If I am incorrect about this particular vaccine, then it is my fault for trusting the scientists who claimed their data was accurate and the vaccine beneficial, which should have also been peer reviewed.

  • @MeteorMega - If I find myself doubting the words of scientists too much when science in general has already proven to be so beneficial to humanity, especially in the area of medicine, then I find myself really becoming paranoid in ways that are hurtful. I know about all the adverse side affects of many of these drugs, and about the priced in law suits, I'm not ignorant. I blame economics, not science. Also, that one professor will have to get his data peer-reviewed.

  • @MeteorMega - Furthermore, are you against schools requiring any and all vaccines for their students then? I'm not sure how I would feel about that, if you said yes. As a matter of the federal government mandate for vaccines, you might be right. But schools boards/counties/states should be able to mandate vaccines yes? If that is true, what standard could they use that satisfies the skeptics like yourself? Could those standards be applied nationally? Not everything is a conspiracy.

  • @MeteorMega - And as a parent, you have the right to take care of the welfare of your children. If at some point society says, 'hey, I don't think you're taking care of your kids,' society typically steps in. You may not believe this is one of those issues. Maybe it isn't. But if it isn't, on this principle, schools nationwide would have to drop all their vaccine requirements. Not good. If there was an AID's vaccine, perfectly safe for 99.9% of people, would you mandate it by law? If not, why?

  • @UPplRSick I, as a parent, have the right to vaccinate or not. The federal government is not on my list as someone that knows what they are doing. As for STD, my daughter has had a very good sex education and I trust her. IN Texas, the pharmaceutical companies spend MILLIONS lobbying to get this mandate passed. I grew up fine & I don't have any STDs so what's your point here? Are you a chemist? Do you know that this vaccine is actually helpful or harmful? Where's the public study?

  • @UPplRSick Ron Paul is doctor.

  • ...the HPV vaccine is a good thing. inoculation against disease is good - esp where said disease is a cancer inducing virus.

as you all know viruses cant be treated with antibiotics. prevention is best.

  • @421ikoom I agree, but it's a matter of freedom of choice, not forcefully giving them.

As for our state of health.... most all Americans can control their health through a good diet and exercise. We spend TRILLIONS on prescription drugs that are used to counteract our bad choices in life. Healthcare is big big business in this country and they will keep pumping out the drugs in order to make money. How many people have died because of bad prescription drugs?

  • @MeteorMega compared to those that have died because of good prescription drugs? yeah i agree a lot of the diseases affecting americans are lifestyle based, but to not inoculate against a cancer causing virus which also increases the risk of contracting HIV is dumb.

in theory people had a choice not to be vaccinated against small pox, but they didnt. why? because no one was stupid enough to campaign against it. here we have plenty of fools campaigning for "freedoms" that will kill.

  • I must take issue with Ron Paul on the HPV vaccine which aims to prevent cervical cancer. I think that the cost of the vaccine are far outweighed by the costs of treating this cancer, which is caused by HPV, an STD. Prevention is far cheaper than cure. Paul would undoubtedly say that the cost of treating cervical cancer should not come out of taxpayer-funded healthcare but taxpayers end up paying through Medicaid to treat cervical cancer patients anyway.

  • @badger5079

soooo, one question, if you wake up tomoorow with terrible headaches, see your doctor and he says you have braincancer and gonna die in 6 months if you cant afford 200000usdollar (probably not enough) . so youve got the money?

  • @Torte17

You may have responded to the wrong person.

  • @badger5079 I have to take issue with you. IT'S THE PARENTS' RIGHT to oversee what happens to their children. That was the point in Texas. The Pharmaceutical company stood to make BILLIONS in just our own state. The PARENTS here still believe in freedom, not government mandated crap so big PHarma can continue to make money hand over fist.

  • @MeteorMega

I think that would be fine as long as the taxpayer doesn't end up paying for the medical treatment of medically uninsured women who have developed cervical cancer as a result of contracting HPV which could have been prevented at far less cost by a vaccination. There will always be people who think that the government is trying to implant the mark of the beast when it administers a vaccination program. This is fine as long as the health system allows the people who...

  • @MeteorMega

...contract HPV and develop cervical cancer as a result of declining vaccination know that their cancer will go untreated if they are uninsured. Why should their ignorance cause harm to taxpayers through welfare such as Medicare? The problem is that I don't think that a democratic society would allow unvaccinated women who develop cervical cancer as a consequence of declining the HPV vaccine to die untreated if they have no health insurance. ...

  • @MeteorMega

..sure, people should have the liberty to take risks as long as their risks don't come at a cost to others. Medicare and other welfare programs would ensure that freedom-loving uninsured women who contracted cervical cancer would pass the cost of their care onto others or die.

  • @badger5079 The issue here isn't whether the state should pay for the vaccine. The issue here is the civil rights of 12 year old girls. If a girl does not want to take the vaccine because she feels that being protected from a disease only transmitted via sex is wrong because she believes non-marital sex to be wrong, she should have that right. I'm sure many people would support subsidizing the cost of the vaccine, but coercion is just plain wrong.

  • @ElGringoCastellano

There are many 12 year old girls who will swear blind that they will not have sex until they are married who end up pregnant before they are 17. This is to be expected as teenage girls are prone to having unprotected sex. Almost all 12 year old girls who express opinions on sex before marriage will trot out the boilerplate answers that their parents expect of them. It seems to me that to interrogate such girls ...

  • @badger5079 You're evading the fact that if a girl truly, honestly does not want the vaccine that she will have to be dragged kicking and screaming to take it, or be arm-twisted by some other sort of pressure, to take it against her will if this policy is upheld. I can understand that often people may not have perfect judgement at that age, but they're still people, and their right to decide what happens with their bodies cannot just be hand waved away for some alleged social benefit.

  • @ElGringoCastellano

I would not force a girl to have a vaccine by physical force. I would create legislation so that her parents sign away her right to claim from Medicare or similar programs if she were to unfortunately develop cervical cancer as a result of her principled opposition to the vaccine. Naturally, this documentation would have to be signed by the girl herself when she is 16 or so presuming that she has reached the age of competence as judged by a doctor.

  • @badger5079

would likely evaporate would it not? Especially if it were based upon a 12 year old's supposed conviction that SHE would never have unprotected sex unlike all those other sluts. I mean people who refuse 'flu vaccines do not do so on the basis that they couldn't possibly be so immoral as to catch the 'flu. Public health medicine does have a responsibility to the collective of humans known as society. Anathema to a libertarian, I know but libertarianism has downsides.

  • @ElGringoCastellano

...regarding their intentions on unprotected premarital sex would be more invasive of their privacy than just administering a vaccine to all teenage girls which can prevent cervical cancer in later life. I think teenage boys should also get the vaccine since they are vectors for HPV.

  • @badger5079 Interrogating them? If they're being vocal about their desire to not have the vaccine there is no interrogation involved.

I understand that the benefits of vaccination are enormous, and alleged risks are fictitious. But we're talking about basic individual liberty here. Young people are not the property of their parents. Young people are not the property of the government That has to be acknowledged and respected.

  • @ElGringoCastellano

12 year old girls do not generally formulate their own opinions on premarital sex and vaccinations. To the extent that they object to vaccinations on a point of principle, this will have been due to inculcation by their parents in almost every case. I suppose that thye could sign a waiver stating that they will understand that they will not be allowed to claim under Medicare if they develop cervical cancer asa direct result of contracting HPV...

  • @badger5079 ...but they would not be any more likely to be able to understand the risks of forgoing the vaccination as a 12 year old than they would be to understand the risks of smoking marijuana or taking cocaine. Children who hold strongly-held opinions borrow their opinions from their parents. (Religious beliefs are a good example) If these opinions are going to impinge upon the right of the taxpayer in later years you have to deal with a principle of conflicting liberties.

  • @ElGringoCastellano

Do parents have the right to coerce their children to make choices which are good and healthy? Of course. The HPV vaccine comes in this bracket.

  • @badger5079 That's absurd. While that certainly holds true for younger children, by the time a person is 12 their input in the matter is extremely important. If a parent really believes it's the right thing, they can use persuasion. And if the would be recipient of the vaccine continues to adamantly refuse, their right to self-determination should be respected.

Plus, how many cases like that do you think you'll have? The few stubborn enough to continue to refuse are much more likely to avoid sex

  • @ElGringoCastellano

Many 12 year olds do not have the competence to understand the consequences of having unprotected sex. Many of them will profess that they will remain virgins until they marry and so on... then they often get pregnant anyway. That is just the nature of teenagers. The vaccination is an important public health measure to reduce healthcare costs and disease burdens. ..

  • @ElGringoCastellano

If a girls who refuses the HPV vaccine later develops cervical cancer as a result and happens to be medically uninsured, should her freedom to be stupid impinge upon the freedom of the taxpayer to not have to pay for someone else's stupidity? I think not. Unfortunately, this would lead to women dying of untreated cervical cancer in large numbers. Naturally, socialised programs such as Medicare won't allow this to happen.

  • Wanting Ron Paul to be president is like wanting to date that one girl you can never have :,(

  • @TIMTEBOWNER GO FOR IT :D Let's all die trying with a smile on our face :P

  • @TIMTEBOWNER hahahaha best analogy i ever heard lol, but hey theirs always the one you can settle for (RAN)

  • RON PAUL FOR 2012!!

  • thug life.

  • GO RON GO

  • Not an RP supporter but hes dead on about mandatory vaccinations.

  • Ron Paul is the only choice.

  • RON PAUL 2012!

  • rick perry is the bey

  • Rick Perry would be a good president, but haters gonna hate.

  • @MasterJedi96 you can't be serious...please youtube search "rick perry incoherent attack on Romney"...get back at me. Ron Paul is the rational choice

  • @msullivan85 rational? how about radical? you know how outlandish and insane his foreign policies are? might as well send a surrender notice to every country out there who despises us. see what'll happen to your freedoms then

  • @MasterJedi96 why because we can't defend ourselves!? Our military is the strongest in the World and your worried about other Countries invading? Stop buying into the fear-mongering you pussy and grow a pair. Other countries hate us because we have over 250 military bases all over the world and we poice and meddle in other governments for our own ends...open your eyes and wake up moron

  • @msullivan85 i'm a pussy??! no, i'm just worried because with people like ron paul, it doesn't really matter how good our military is if we won't use it. people like ron paul don't know how to TRY to dissipate problems before they happen. with ron paul, we'll get nuked before he'll try to take any preventative measures. now while i don't doubt that he'd do everthing in his power to defend us once the attack hit, the overall goal is to stop things before they happen.

  • @MasterJedi96 its just a flawed way of thinking to me? the simple fact that we have hundreds of nukes in our arsenal...im think about that. Why the hell would ANYBODY want to nuke us? It doesnt make sense, you know why? because its not real...Mainstream media it TOTALLY manipulated and they have been playing with people fears. This idea we need to police the world and go to war to stop (maybe) 10 guys in a basement from commiting violence is lunacy. We protect our borders and we'll be fine.

  • @MasterJedi96 the point is...ALL peoples know the reprecussions of nuclear war. Nobody wants that, I don't care what you're told...do you want nuclear war?...I could argue that because these people are sick of us meddling and policing them, thats would be a reason to commit terrorism or "nuke" us. I could argue the threat of major terrorism exists today because of our current foreign policy. Russia has told us not to mess with Iran..this could bring on nuclear war. Simple, Mind our own business

  • @msullivan85 that is a respectable viewpoint, but i think that technically things could go haywire whether we use ron's policy or gingrich's. in a technical sense, it really doesn't matter who we elect because at any moment we could get attacked for god knows what reason whether we elect one guy or not.

  • @MasterJedi96 no doubt some truth there. I just think its dangerous to sacrifice freedoms for security, our founders warned against it and thats exactly what we've been doing. If you can respect that side of the arguement its obvious to me you at least have an open mind unlike many other people. Not sure how you feel about his other stances but he has been %100 correct when it comes to economy (the Fed). If interested, nice video (The World is endorsing Ron Paul) about 12 mins long.

  • @msullivan85 i completely agree with his economic stances. i think his idea to get rid of government influence like social security, health care, and government power is very good.

  • @MasterJedi96 alright, alright...I definately made pre-mature judgements about you, I sincerely apologize. Even if people don't agree with everything he says I appreciate somebody who can open-mindedly, unbiasedly see some of his stances rationally. Some people just spout stuff they hear in the media or are so devoted to one political affiliation they totally discredit him, and stonewall you without actually doing a bit of research.

  • Comment removed

  • @msullivan85 and your simple solution to the argument is pathetic. "im not going to listen to you because you said something i disagree with." if everything were like that, i doubt we'd even have nominations anymore. either you don't have anything better to say or your just shying from conflict, which the latter i understand. sometimes to me it feels like everyone is an uneducated idiot.

  • @MasterJedi96 you raise a fair point, I believe unless you know history you can never be educated...most people don't like history :). I just can't believe Rick Perry though, im sorry. The guy seemed smashed at some of his rallys and if you just listen to him speak, Im embarrassed for the country he actually became a governor. oh well, just an opinion I guess

  • Unlike everyone else here ron paul says his shit and STICKS with it if you dont like him you need to respect the fact he stands by his views and will defend them

  • finally a politician who will speak out for what makes sense.

    jesus christ.

  • ron paul is an enemy of america. he should be legally tried and, if found guilty, legally shot for treason by a legal court of law for legality purposes for going against the law by illegally advocatning treason against the legal institution of the "united states of america", legally enforced and binding against all illegalities against the legal entity "America".

  • @Bregowald Lol shut up. Ron Paul would make America a billion times better then the piece of shit it is now.

  • @Bregowald Shut the FUCK up you ignorant piece of shit. You just still haven't woke up yet.

  • @Bregowald I didnt know that standing up for the Constitution was an act of treason...... what were our founding fathers thinking when they wrote this......

  • @Bregowald one of the most incoherent false things ive heard in a while...please do the world a favor a go die in a hole so you can't infect anybody else with your mere presence.

  • @Bregowald You realize you made NO FUCKING SENSE, right?

  • It is apparent that Ron and I have a similar understanding about state sponsored child exploitation.

  • doesnt even stop to say hes a Dr... like a Boss

  • I hope nobody actually thinks Ron Paul was calling Rick Perry a social misfit from this dialogue.

The word "misfit" can easily be applied to something other than a person.

He was speaking of the application of medicine as a social misfit in this particular case.

He was doing what debaters should do, address the issue and clarify you stance.

The poster of the video probably wanted to attract attention with the title.

Otherwise, we all need to pay closer attention to what is said.

  • @Pandopolous you hit it right on the heag

  • I think he is a good man through nd through. Unfortunately big politicians have handlers and bosses. Those handlers/bosses have enough money and power to make sure he does not make it. Damn shame, I think he would do well as POTUS.

  • the conspiracy theories always seemed stupid to me. but i am for on ron paul

  • Guys, I`m a follower of Ron Paul and live in Canada. What is the current status of Ron Paul?

He seems to be doing extremely well on the internet (Polls, ratings etc..), but when I check Fox or CNN, they seem the opposite.

If someone could break this down for me I would really appreciate it.

  • @logicCplusplus

He is doing better than expected, but I don't think he will win. The problem is that the media portrays him as a lunatic and most Americans are not open minded towards him. I think his strategy rgiht now is to get enough delegates so that the republican party will let him speak at the republican convention. Furtheremore, he will use the speech to put forward some on his ideas into the platform of the republican nominee.

  • Ron Paul supports a christian state religion

  • @LSABProductions Constitutionalist is the key word here, and note that Constitution = Separation of Church and State.

  • @zombieslayer9775

All the MORE reason to exercise your voice by voting... At least then you'll have a clear conscience.

  • I love RP he's different than all the phony ZOG puppets that's taken presidency in the past few decades. He opposes SOPA aka the biggest rights infrigement bill in US history, his policies are the most balanced & fair out of all presidential candidates, he's honest, intelligent, straightforward, & a dedicated constitutional rights activist. I believe he has the best interest of the working class at heart. This is exactly the kind of guy needed in the white house! VOTE Ron Paul 2012 bitches!!!

  • @StrongGayBlackMan Don't forget the NDAA bill and PIPA as well. I did hear that congressional support for SOPA and PIPA are dropping more and more everyday. However, it doesn't change the fact that Obama signed the NDAA bill. That is probably the biggest infringement on our rights ever. RON PAUL OR REVOLUTION 2012

  • @emmetts8 As long as Obozo isn't president another 4 years I think America will have the potential to survive. The best case scenario is electing Ron Paul as president. If there's positive "change" to be made to our govt & economy he is without uncertainty the best man for the job.

  • @StrongGayBlackMan That's what kinda scares me a little bit. The majority just want Obama out, and someone else in. Why can we as a people, as a nation, not stand UNITED and show the world that WE don't want someone else, WE WANT RON PAUL? Why settle for the lesser of 2 evils, i.e. BO vs Romney/Santorum/Gingrich? Why not pick the BEST? RON PAUL!! I do agree with you, with a Republican, there's a chance to turn this country around. With Ron Paul, It's a certainty.

  • @emmetts8 I agree but if that clown is elected again we as a nation deserve the hell we put ourselves in. I am hoping Americans are not that stupid & ignorant that they elect the same moron who screwed us over in the first place. In the almost four years he's been president he dug us from a 4ft hole to a 10 ft hole. It's gonna take someone with expertise to fix these problems & given RP's rap sheet he is the best qualified candidate. America vote RON PAUL!!!

  • @emmetts8 Exact same thing just happened with us here in the UK. Many wanted Gordon Brown out and now we've got David Cameron. Sometimes it's better the devil you know.

  • Comment removed

  • THANK YOU MY FELLOW AMERICANS...FOR FINALLY....FINALLY WAKING UP!!!

  • Pathetic really that US politics is so corrupt and at an all time low that people are pinning their hopes on Ron Paul, an old man with numerous faults in his own programme. When a right-wing, fundamentalist libertarian looks like the best option the opportunities for decent governance have really bombed.

  • @nakedmambo Many people have potential, yet they don't want to join the govt.

  • A HURP DERP AH LIKA RON PAUL CUZ HE'S LIKA REAGAN AND REAGAN FIXED OUR ECONOMY AND BUDGET HERP DERP

No, seriosuly guys, I really do like Ron Paul, I just really don't like Reagan.

  • Ron Paul seems to have a bigger pair of balls than all the other candidates combined. It's amazing to watch. They all do what their corporate buddies are doing. Ron Paul stands alone and makes them all look like idiots by revealing them for what they are, cowards.

  • @1After100 i agree with everything u say....and the sad thing about it, is that will be his downfall....as we all have seen in American politics....if you don't follow the status-quo u get left behind....

  • @1After100 absolutely AGREED! well said

  • Ron Paul looks like a lovely man and i really like him. But he doesn't look like he has the balls for the white house. In fact all the candidates look incompetent. I rather have Obama do his last term than let any of these idiots run office. But i do support Ron.

  • Rick Perry is an arrogant prick.

    Vote Ron Paul people please

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • GO RON PAUL!

  • slam that shit back in his face ron

  • BARACK OBAMA 2012! =)

  • If you love Ron Paul, listen to our music! Ron Paul 2012! =)

  • This is a stupid peice of out of context talk, in which, by the way, Ron Paul, who I respect for many of his views, makes a completely stupid and ignorant remark about very good medicine, and a very promising treatment to prevent cancer. This video should be pulled for being so out of context, misrepresented and dumb.

  • ther not forced ya ass! remeber polio? we killed that shet! So whas the break down!? well uh do ya need 12 yr old kids to think about std's? if ther mexican they prolly already know!! and what the hell just add it as a another booster shot the kids already know if they start talking about sex at a young age anyway, who the hell wants to say mommy "I think I'll jus consumate with out it" and or what the hells the difference if HALF of all college kids already have a cancer spreading disease..

  • @MadeinBaghdad I wish man! Our government is bought and paid for sadly. We are owned by the banks. They already know who our next president is going to be before we do. We are slaves!

  • @GW2Excitement bullshit

  • Rick crossed his legs like a bitch at the end.

  • I'm RACIST for criticizing Obama.

TERRORIST because I'm not with Bush.

ANTISEMITIC for not supporting Rothechild Zionism.

    TEABAGGER for supporting the Constitution.

    TRUTH-ER for asking unanswered questions.

TRAITOR for whistle-blowing on my corrupt Government.

CONSPIRACY THEORIST for presenting documented facts.

TROLL for uploading news, videos, quotes and U.S.Atrocities.

ANTI-AMERICAN for supporting Constitutionalists like Dr. Ron Paul.

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • @WeThePeopleVStheNWO You loons give yourself away everytime with made up nonsense phrases like Rothscild Zionism. Any Jewish person that works hard to get where they are is treated like a pariah, as if working hard and being successful is only evil for Jews. Very sick indeed

  • @WeThePeopleVStheNWO and youre an intellectual weakling for posting that

  • RON PAUL 2012!!!! That's who America wants!

  • Dr. Paul FTW. Perry was in bed with vaccine makers - merck.

  • @rodeo179 Perry is a dirty SOB!

  • Guys, look on the bright side; the two candidates who are most likely to win are the only two who truly have our best interests at heart.

  • @GodlessShredder What best interests are those? Are you talking about Romney and Santorum? Romney and Obama? Who.

  • @jonah232 I'm talking about Ron Paul and Obama. When I say "best interests," I really just mean that they're the only honest candidates, who speak from their hearts and don't dodge questions or hide their real opinions.

And I haven't been paying much attention to the statistics; I only say they're likely

  • @GodlessShredder (Part 2) to win because I hear more people supporting them than any other candidates.

  • obama 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • obama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Rick Perry is a social misfit.
