@needband There's actually a lot more but skyclad are the first ever folk metal band. Try Skiltron, Spellblast, Celtic Legacy, Alestorm, Elvenking, Falconer, or Tyr. Those are all good folk metal bands.

@KoffeePerkulator Alestorm is both pirate and folk metal, it just depends how specific you want to get with naming the genre, like how Tyr is a viking metal band and Skiltron is celtic metal.

@rovebeetle2 Genres are arbitrary, both because of all the fusion and overlapping and the choice of how specific you want to get. I'd consider Alestorm to be power metal, though- not really a lot of folk going on except that accordion they have going on in the background if that counts.
