look no hate toward canadians but what vshmel just ignore it coming from an american i promise you just because one dickhead american dont judge us all the same even knowing these troops are not american i admit i shedded fucking tears over these brave men and women RESPECT GOES OUT TO THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN OF CANADA
I'm proud to say I cried, and I still want to fulfill my dreams joining the military, Nothing will stop me in pushing and striving forward to work side by side with people who love their country and will fight every second till their last breath.
I am baling because my brother was in war and died because he was killed by a suside bomber and his name is Corporal Keith Morley and he was acctually 29 when he died but the next day was his birthday so it really sucks now. I miss you big bro. You fought for us and I love you soooooooooo much!!!!!!!!! Your in my heart forever!!!!
I just wanted to say thank you I was kinda of missing my friend and was watching some of these videos and then I secen my friend come on the screen and he would be proud to know that he has earned the respect of his follow canadians.
all these canadian soldiers didnt die for no reason, they died for our freedom.... they did this for us so we need give the canadian troops our respect. god bless every canadian soldier who died for our freedom
People take for granted what these men and women sacrifice for us to live in our free country. My heart goes out to the families of the fallen soilders who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
@Normalman50 you must be a Canadian citizen to serve in the Canadian military. There are many different cultures serving in Canada. As for your statement about disbanding the military I will have to disagree with you. We will still be in Afghanistan after 2011, although it will no longer be a combat role. Disband the military and who do you have to defend the people in this country if something ever does arise? Although you may not agree with having an army, it is necessary in today's world.
@sebek92 i hope u dont mind i just wanted to say i miss u dad and i hope u rest in peace ='( add me on face book u guys i need support blondebaby69@hotmail.com
God bless any brave person who signs up for a military position, but now that Harper has declared that we will no longer become involved in wars "the military should be disbanded", like it was in Costa Rica back in 1948. Our military personnel could be trained for police positions, as we need more officers to handle Canada's imported gun crimes, like in Toronto. Those not suited to police work should be given an honorable discharge and all pension money earned to date.
@vshmel Your opinion matters even less than you do. The sooner you come to terms with that, the better off you'll be. Hopefully you will disappear quietly when you realize the world is a better place without you.
@vshmel Who wants to be an American?? This video is to honor and remember our brave men/women.Your country is not that great anyway..i don't know why im in this country(USA) anyway.I'll do anything to move back, seriously.
Disrespectful and hate filled comments will be removed and you will be blocked from posting on this video. If you're not here to pay tribute, please leave take your garbage elsewhere.
Can I ask a question: I noticed that none of the men shown in the video appear to be East Indian, Pakistani, etc. Is it only Canadian born people who can join the military in Canada, or is it that immigrants do not sign up for military action?
@CanucksMakeMePuke6 How much more insanity do you have to post? What kind of guy thinks that it is funny to tarnish the memory of men and women that lost their lives for the safeguard of liberty? When will you start acting like a human being?
@CanucksMakeMePuke6 Your cowardice continues to amaze me! Now the target are soldiers that cannot defend themselves. Your poor parents must contemplate ending it all on a daily basis having such a coward for a son. I would encourage you to join the military yourself, but the mere sight of a gun would most likely cause you to wet your pants.I'm sure if you disappeared today, no one would notice, let alone care.
Wow! Top respect to all Canadian solders, I feel incredibly sorrow for all of them, including the ones who accidentally killed there allies, I would never be able to live with my self.
If you take a look at this video you will see that most have died by IED's and the reason the taliban use those is because they know if they went head on with canada or the US in a gunfight they would not stand in chance.
RIP boys and for ones who are still fighting keep going you have the support at home
@icecold151 Amen brother, and Godsped to all of the brave soldiers from my homeland (Canada) that fight hand in hand with my current country men (America). Hold your head high Canada, your Soldiers are trully fighting for freedom with honor and pride as their reward because sadly they have been ignored by their Government which does not compensate them or provide them with the benifits that they rightfully deserve.
I didnt jnow any of tuese solduers but there is one soldier who was in my battalion and faught along side him who was KIA by a roadside vomb on foot patrol.... That was obe of the most horrific sights i saw while over seas
Also not shown in video: Deaths date back from June 14, 2009 to February 12, 2010. This post and my last comment. Sapper Steven Marshall Lieutenant Justin Boyes Corporal Jonathan Couturier Private Patrick Lormand Major Yannick Pépin Sapper Matthieu Allard Corporal Christian Bobbitt Private Sébastien Courcy Master Corporal Patrice Audet Corporal Martin Joannette Master Corporal Charles-Philippe Michaud Corporal Nicholas Bulger
jesus mary, friendly fire, was that talking about the A-10 incodent? may all of these soldiers be remebered, lest we forgot those who so bravel gave thier lives for the service of our country, my prays go out to the familys of those who only days ago saw life (future fighter pilot RCAF)
There have been 6 friendly fire casualties to the Canadian troops in Afghanistan. Sgt. Marc D. Léger, Cpl. Ainsworth Dyer, Pte. Richard Green, and Pte.Nathan Smith were killed when an American F-16 dropped a 225 kg bomb on their position during a training exercise. Pte. Robert Costall was killed by friendly fire from American Special Forces and Pte. Mark Anthony Graham was killed by an American A-10 Warthog.
Have any of you guys stuck your hand in to hot of water, or put the shower to hot, or lighter to your finger or cigarete to your finger, and how much it hurts? just thought id throw that out there
Chris Stannix was a Master Corporal; he took a demotion to Corporal voluntarily so he could serve in Afghanistan. You should list him here as a MCpl. He was a great friend.
Major Michelle Mendes and Major Raymond Ruckpaul were assasinated in an identical manner. These intellegence officers were eliminated by shadows who profiteer from the warring. These officers deserve our time and effort. Please wake up Canada. Honour these officers and respect the horrible pain their youg kids feel. HARPER says nothing, he lets the psuedo-claims of suicide as good enough??? yuck..
In the italian city of Ortona is the IIww Canadian military cemetery. Boys like these who died in battle. I will pray for you when I visit it. RIP lads. Young heroes from 2 different wars.
Colin Wilmot was my best friend miss him so much and I got to meet some of these soldiers family this past april at the rededication ceremony in barry ontario at he base there this never gets easier....
I would like to apologize for not adding Corporal Karine Blais to the video, and am uploading a new version as we speak. I will post the link in the description once the video is complete.
i'm english but i understand why u made this. i'm only 15, but i'm seriously proud of those who serve my country, and so should you be about ur own country! gud on u
