HTC EVO 4G first thoughts: quick review

I really think this phone has a much better design then the evo shift...but I was going to get the evo shift just because it has a keyboard. Would you say texting is easy with the touch screen phone? I'm 13 :P so it's not that much of a problem, just wondering.

will it make any diffrence when froyo comes to evo in july, can the os be update or change and whats the posibility of an extended battery please responde before buying

@kmevesRi Yes when the New Google software update comes out Froyo (android 2.2) The Evo 4G will be able to get it and it will be awesome!! Froyo will truly steal the iphone 4's thunder. Unfortunately it is highly unlikely that the software will effect the performance of the battery and extend it's life. But i am not sure of that yet it could but it probably wont.

@arietaa1 yes it is a body glove very nice case... hope you enjoy your phone when you get it. if you watched my video of the htc evo 4g problem with uploading videos to youtube it was resolved so you dont have to worry about that haha

being that the evo has full glass face I wouldnt put any case on it but a very soft silicon one.

My friend went to best buy today and tried a couple cases on and guess what? his phone is scratched up to shit and back by putting them on and taking them off.

@VerbalGenius09 well its isn't bad but its certainly not spectacular its average. You would think it would be awesome because the phone is so amazing but i guess thats the only feature that is sub par. But i thoughts on it are that it is just average.

I live in the UK, so this phone hasn't been launched, but I would have gone straight out and got it. I'm going to wait see what the Iphone4 has to offer and see what other possible contenders for this phone will be like.. the Nokia N8 for example.. but this phone just looks phenomenal. I'll be surprised if apple can beat this... and Nokia.. well there phones are getting gradually more disappointing. Nice review, keep the vids of this phone coming!

you can change that big clock. Just throw it away and put one of the other included clocks that htc has on it.
