Put yourself in their shoes - volunteering for their country to pay for education, support their families, or out of selfless service in a hostile environment thousands of miles from home and the only thing they are looking forward to is to see their loved ones and get home safely.

You could only dream of having the knowledge they've acquired and the training they've received. The reasons we first entered Iraq surely weren't just, I won't argue there, but for us to leave a country without a stable government and a trained military is immoral.
