You used the CGI shots almost exclusively, which I thought distanced the video a bit from the very human-oriented aspect of the movie itself. If youtube still had the star rating, I would have given you 4 out of 5, but I guess I like it then. It was pretty good otherwise.
@piip4 You have a valid point. Actually, I have been thinking of putting together another one. I just haven't had the time. As soon as I was done watching the film, I raced to the computer to put this together. There were a lot of shots of the crew I wanted to incorporate, but the audio track I put together had inspired more images of the ship and battles. Thanks for the positive feedback!
@galloway62042009 I agree. I would have loved to have seen more. I guess that's what you can do with a small $29B budget (so I've heard). I also would have liked to have seen more on the retrofitting of the Yamato. Still, I loved the film. One of my favorites, for sure!
@RX78 Maybe if They'd just lowered the quality of the cgi a tad they couldve had more of it?
I was just really disappointed that the Battle of Gamilas was done on foot and with cosmo tigers ather than the whole ship getting tractor beamed down and bombarded like in the anime
@galloway62042009 Thanks! That actually happened to me, too, when I heard the score. I blended bits from 4 of my favorite tracks to create this. The movie inspired this video and the mix inspired the clip selections.
I made a music video from a movie a few months ago and that got removed within days. A Korean movie, so it seems it could easily happen to any movie pretty easily.
@piip4 I wonder how much YouTube content would be removed if every video was flagged. Good thing Vimeo exists! I don't think they even have a content ID system there. If they do, it's very forgiving.
I'm sick of damned CG!
If I wanted a cartoon I would have watched the original!
This doesn't seem to know what the hell it is!

Its a shame the Movie Wasnt more like this, There werent enough Battle Scenes or use of Other Weapons.
Also I was a little dissappointed when there wasnt actually a yamato battle at gamilas or a Seperate Starsha/Iscandar

I haven't received one yet. With all the other fan-made stuff that is on YouTube, I hope I don't. I'm really proud of this one. Thanks for watching!
