I saw a Canned Heat show here in '78, roughly, and so may have seen Fats and not known it or remembered it. I recall a Randall backline sponsorship, the Bear playing harp, Fito's solo, high volume. Some dude on smack fell down the Dal Arts Center stairwell. Same drug Mann used?

Never heard anyone who was any more fluent and versatile. Somebody ought to introduce the editors of Rolling Stoned ragazine to MISTER Michael Mann.
