@kannabutter If it doesn't look the same size, the motherboard probably has a different socket. Check your CPU specs to see if is the same as you motherboard's.
to avoid static shocks you can also plug in your PSU if you got a 3 pin power plug the third pin is ground and touch the PSU to ground out your self avoid static build up.
IF THE SQUARE IS TO BIG OR SMALL FOR THE CPU TO GO IN SOCKET DOES THIS MEAN IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE .. ITS NOT FITTING EXACTLY.
