Comic Con is now not only for comic books. It's about pop culture. Bryan Fuller is a celebrated creator amongst comic book fans because his shows are amazing (even if they keep getting canceled.) Anyway, popularity is probably the main reason Pushing Daisies was doing Comic Con. That and the fact that there was a comic book that went along with the first season, it was included in the DVD box set. And there have been talks of doing a comic book to finish the series since it was canceled.

Well obviously she is original. But at a couple moments in the piece, she shifts her tone in a way that she seems to be mimicking or trying to sound like someone else.

I'm not hating btw. I love her as much as you. And yes, I can sing that high. A high C is not that difficult. (Here she doesn't reach her F).

I didn't know Chenoweth when I found Pushing Daisies on internet. And I liked her, but I simply thought the singing scenes were just playback parodies ... till now. I've been searching and now I know she's a legend. Like Wonder Falls and Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies is very original an gotta say that beside the well creepy- twisted storyboards, Friel, Chenoweth, Davernas and Muth added a very strange good touch to these series. It's a shame most people don't appreciate fine humour.

I was in the second row right in front of her. I had to bust out laughing though when I saw in my peripheral right the "Phantom of the Opera" rising with a single rose in hand. All together that was an amazing day. An amazing treat, and scoring Chi, Anna, and Lee's signed name placard was the cherry on top.
