Lovely ! Remember Tony Blackburn used to play this a lot in 1968, my first term as a student. Didn't realise they played there (Newcastle), though lots of great bands did.
Can't believe anybody other than me and my best mate Mal knew about this record!! whoever posted anything to do with it - many thanks you've made a happy man very old. - I could tell some tales about this song!! - Thanks Paul Bowden (Isle of Man)
Interesting, never heard the line "You make this life of mine a dream" on the record (it is very indistinct on the single ~ sounds like "you make this live comparidy?!?") and I must have heard it thousands of times. Can hear it now on the single~Cheers
Actually, thanks for the upload, love this version. Have all the original singles anyway, so can play them whenever I like, and you can buy the CD version of the singles anyway so nothing is lost. Great to hear this raw 'live version', the song still sounds great without the orchestration. Great songs never die in whatever form!
Just heard their origional All the love in the world on radio 2 Great.

What happened to Pod the plod on drums, Bill Mangle'em's guitaring and Fairey's
falsetto?

@drumthumpa Read (If you can) the history of the band on myspace consortium1971to 1980.

@travellingirl1 I refer to the original and best consortium of the late '60's.
Your rudeness does not reflect well for the band. Those of us who can write, by
default, can also read. I typed this s l o w l y, in recognition of your IQ!

Absolutely - which is how they should remain, not re-hashed, re-heated and re-presented.
Yesterday's warmed-up leftovers are never as good as the original dish...

Mmmmm.
Sometimes it is better to just leave people with the memory - a moment in space and time to be treasured.
Sorry guys, the 1960's are over...
