Great pbi poet. it not complete. it start as TOTE DHARAT HOI PANJABIA DI,NAHI DILA DI AJE PREET TUTI. MILDE GILL SANDHU DOI PASI, NAHI GOT DI SANJHI REET TUTI. ASE HAIN SIYASAT JAKAR PAYE, NA KOI KHABAR IDHAR NA KOI KHABAR ODHAR. TERI MAA DI REH GAI MARI IDHAR, MERE ABA DI REH GAI KABAR ODHAR. so on. It is best poem after Amrita Pritam's Aj Aakha waris shah nu. Pt Nehru wept, when he listened it in a kavi darbar at Lal Killa. If some body can load it full. I read it in Tribune, in 1975 JAI PB

I can assure you that it is the complete poem. I have the book in which it was published (Daman dey moti دامن دے موتی). If the other verses you mentioned were read in the same mushaira, he could have read more than one poem. Also, sometimes poets add a qata (quatrain) before the main poem/ghazal.

Thanks Khamosh Sahib, I have not heard it in any Mushaiyra but read in english news paper Tribune published from Chandigarh, INDIA, when I was law student. Do U have poems of Ustad Hamdam who wrote Pakistan dia mauja hi mauja, chare passe fauja hi fauja about Ayub revolt, and Ki kari jana ki kari jana, kadi shimle jana kadi marri jana about Shimla agreement. If U can get them and load it. HAPPY new Yr to U, ur family and all Punjabis living around world. God bring peace to land of5 rivers.
