First i knew it would rocket second i thought it was goona rocker the other way and third at 2:00 theres a gas can behind ther bullet (rocket) test area
Awesome dude, I am currently working on a homemade gun to shoot homemade bullets like these. Btw, what did you get the black powder from, some kind of firecrackers i presume?
i tried that sooo often and it always worked. You took a fuse --> bad mistake, make a primer. and your bullet stuck much too hard in the shell. Believe me i know what i am talking about.
@chainhead1 yes REAL bullets, and if you talk about velocity --> do you want to blow your fingers up??. Real bullets have such a big velocity because of their strong casing, and if you want to do the same with paper, this will cause dangerous ingury. And dont make the mistake to think that i dont know much about guns and ammo, i bet i know much much more than u.
@chainhead1 YES, i know more about guns than u --> i am a Gunsmith in reallife too. I havn't finished my apprenticeship yet, but i will have in 1 year. I bet u dont even know the full meaning of .50 BMG without google it.
im trying to get it through too, i use a copper pipe, and make the back closed with a hammer or anything like that, then i make a hole for the fuse, put the fuse through the hole, put gunpowder in it, close it up with tin foil, add a procectile (bb balls) and close it up with tin foil. haven't tried it yet though but i will next wednesday
Like pretty much every one else said you have a good concept but bad materials. Aside from the barrel or bore being made of paper, the bullet you made wouldn't have worked out if it worked as u intended. You'd be better off, if using a smooth barrel, making shot shells. I can tell you full instructions if u can't figure it out.
don't take this in a bad way, but try to keep newton's third law in mind when working with guns and projectiles. i mean, it's good start.... u can also try the superglue and baking soda mix to plug the bottom and drill a primer well and a flash hole.
@Tacome1942 whats super glue and baking soda do and can u watch my homemade bullet video and i got the idea from your first gun video the shooting bullet thing its kinda like that

@Gunsmith1994 If you knew what you were talking about you would know that bullets have to be tight in a shell in order to have decent velocity
