I must get a tube of this glue and try it. I did notice in another video on the same topic the guy applied the glue to both sides of the hinge parts and waited until the glue had cured a bit. He then put the two parts together and the bond was very strong and made an excellent hinge.
Does the weather effect the flexibility? For instance winter the hot glue will become hard as rock and doen`t flex very well. Is the welders glue still flexible? thanks for the video gr8 stuff.
Any chance have you tried this method or something similar on a double beveled surface on control surface and the wing? I have an Aileron that the factory foam hinge is failing. Both the Aileron and wings are beveled. Any tips on those besides clear tape?
Great idea! I'm planning on trying on my next EPP plane. Where do you get this? I've looked around at local hobbystores and hardware stores and haven't seen this yet?
I use a piece of old credit card to wipe the glue works great

Nice video. A fraction longer than it needed, but you spoke clearly and demonstrated well.
I'd add a light next time, this was a little dark.

If you're talking about welders glue then you'll find it at Lowes. In either a red or silver tube.

Nicely Done Mark. Amazing to think that is all there is to it. I'll have to pick up some Welders glue and give it a try.
