I can see why Tracii used Faster Pussycats band and Jizzy singing for the Triple threat tour this year. Not only does it sound like the rest of the band is playing a different song, this singer couldn't pull off a tune by cookie monster. A raped cat sounds better

I like both Tracii and Stacey as guitarists...however, I do think that Tracii is a better guitarist (more experienced is likely). However, as a person that does not like Phil Lewis (he is a scumbag in my book) I still prefer the Phil version of L.A. Guns. I am also aware that Tracii is the one who started LA Guns so technically the "real" LA Guns (whatever) SHOULD change it's name.

@stevenslilangel I agree that both Tracii and Stacey are brilliant players, but I don't agree with the comment about changing the name. Tracii walked out on L.A. Guns when they had a big chance to be on Alice Cooper's European Tour back when Waking The Dead came out. He left them to go suck Nikki Sixx's cock, who ended up ditching Brides of Destruction to go back to the Crue anyway (as he was always going to). Phil and Steve worked hard to keep the band going, so I think they deserve the name.

@AndyKuffz Well since they are both doing it (with LITTLE confusion, anyways) they might as well keep it that way. The one that is really more like L.A. Guns is the Phil Lewis version but whether he is the better one or not Tracii did indeed create the name, whether he has owned up to it or not. To be honest, I don't think his "version" of it is going to outlive Phil's version. Just my opinion.

@stevenslilangel Phil's version will definitely outlast Tracii's. Tracii came up with the name, fair enough, but he abandoned them. Phil and Steve own 50% rights to the name, Tracii owns the other 50%, but I think Tracii should acknowledge the fact he walked away from L.A. Guns. They never kicked him out or anything. Time for him to move on.

This is TOTALLY lame!!!!! Marty is joke and glad to see him gone. Though it's hard to replace Phil Lewis....Phil Lewis is one of the best rock singers EVER!!!! Hands down from the band "Girl", Torme, and recently playing on occasionally with Sin City Sinners he has an amazing voice, cool style, and is very friendly. That's cool Tracii is still jammin....though Stacey is just is good if not better and has more energy and personality on stage.

Saw LA Guns with Phil Lewis in concert tonight here in Springfield, MO.  They kicked ass. Stacey Blades isn't quite as good as Tracii, but it was still f'n awesome. Rip and tear, mothaf----r!!!!

I agree, Tracii's a bit more technically proficient if not alot more but Mick did some great stuff in the studio... the solo from "Too Young to Fall in Love" comes to mind... either way, 2 of my fave bands from the 80's.. Damn, I miss those days..
