The more I listen to Les Paul's music as a subtle calming influence, the more I realize what a ridiculous genius this guy was, until the very end. I owned a Les Paul guitar years ago and his music isn't new to me, but as time goes on... man, I gotta say, these were some monumental recordings.
youtube recordings are full of noise, because it is squashed into a low-quality MP3 format(highly compressed). the first things to suffer are high frequencies
Always nice to find a different version of a tune I enjoy... I initially found this tune (by Glen Gray and the Casa Loma Orchestra) while watching the film "Wild at Heart" by David Lynch; then later I discovered that kd lang had done a nice version of Smoke Rings. Now this is cool, too. Les and Mary, they're wonderful.
Glen Gray's "Casa Loma Orchestra" indeed used this as their theme, which was composed by his arranger, Gene Gifford. This rendition was recorded and released in 1952, and initially featured on the album shown above...
"Smoke Rings" is a wonderful song, probably one of Les Paul's and Mary Ford's best.
There seems, however, to be a background noise which does not belong to the recording proper. It is, by the wav present will all the three recordings I found on YouTube.

The duo also recorded a similar song called "Blow the Smoke Away" which I can't seem to locate anywhere on the tube...?

Thank you for the comment.
I'm sorry I do not understand English.
The last sentences were not able to be understood with a translation machine.
