This is not the only case, but it certainly is compelling. Many Muslims have been held without charges for years because of loose associations with other Muslims. Look up the case of Maher Arar for instance, I would watch the whole 50 minutes to get a sense of how serious this problem is.
hard to believe you were talking about an incident in these United States of America, but of course that was Ashcroft's Justice era.
