They take an oath to defend the constitution and then pass unconstitutional bills, so I don't see how an honesty oath is going to work without someone or group uninterested overseeing it. Then you would have the problem of corruption in this position. This is why government regulation doesn't work and why we need a SMALL government with more power at the state and local level. Unfortunately, the genie is out of the bottle and no one profitting from the system is going to fire themselves.
