I might be going out on a limb here but I think Pixar are the best major filmmakers working today. Period. They rarely have failed to deliver masterpiece after masterpiece. Anyway Toy Story 3 was incredible. I think it's brilliant.
i think as this film was brilliant and fantastic it did have issues, mainly to do with the pacing of the film. never the less i loved it so much and it perfectly ended the series the last 30 minutes had me weeping
@durden85 i agree with viper, too much about the plot was revealed, I switched off cuz i didnt want to spoil it any further for when i see it tomorrow
amazing amazing amazing movie, best ive seen this year, one guy on rotten tomatoes is keeping this from 100%, he gave marmaduke a better grade on his website, wtf, anyways better than the first two
Geez Pixar had me crying again. Very sentimental but not in a way that made me scoff. They really do know how to pull your emotions without making you feel cheated at the end.
And thank goodness they didn't die by way to burning. I was genuinely afraid they'd end at that.
Great review. I haven't gotten around to seeing it yet but it's good to hear that it delivers. Then again it is pixar so in a way it's not a super huge surprise.
Just saw this a few hours ago. This film is hilarious, sad, intense, and overall emotional. My favorite part was definitely the scene when they are close to death by the giant mess of burning trash, and realizing that there is no way out, considering Lotsa (spelling? lol) abandons them, they all hold hands and wait to the end to come. Not going to lie, I was very close to crying. ;)
i cried SO HARD during the movie
i think the opening scene should have reminded everyone of their own childhoods
and at the final scene where andy didn't want to give woody away just broke my heart

Wow! You said it was one of the best films of the year and that only earned a 4.5 out 5 stars? You are a tough critic :)

In the preview of the video it looked like you had a Star Trek TNG uniform on. Weird.
Oh well. Pixar. Seems to be as good as expected. Would this be on your list of the 3 movies you can watch before the world ends?
