Sounds nothing like a sports car. Sounds just like a normal V6 family sedan engine (after all it is a VQ engine that is used even in the FX SUV).

Wrong. It uses a VR38DETT engine. VQ is the one used in the 350Z/350Z,Murano and the FX.

I don't think the vehicle is being driven like it wants to be driven - It should be revving up to 6-7000rpm to appreciate what that motor and vehicle can do. Need a Nissan driver - not somebody who is used to driving slow revving V8s. - needs to rev far more then you will appreciate the sound and the performance. Thats why so many people have commented that it sounds like C@%&**!

paddle shift actually. and i agree, that wouldnt have been more than 5-5500k tops. the most fun usualy starts around 5the 3-4 mark all the way to a fraction before readline

The biggest problem I see is that with such heavy weight, the tires and brakes are not going to last long. Over the course of 15 - 20 laps sprint race on a typical medium speed American track, it is going to lose out to lighter cars in its class (assuming driver has equal skill to start with). The car is designed to beat existing class leaders on paper, but how it will perform as a real supercar on track consistantly lap over lap is unproven at this moment.

Fake sound.... omg? lol this is so fake, nice try. This engine I dont know what it is, how many cylinders, but I'm 150% sure, it is not a V6, particularly now Nissan twin turbo... + the transmission is much quicker than the sound on there.

Thats alot of clicking at the start of it. I wonder if this is the same gtr that has been flogged by other magazines. If thats what i have to look forward too, then I wonder what a tune up is going to be like. im no motorhead but could those be noisy injectors?

nope... it could be the timing chain guide since nissans uses timing chain on most of their engine

In Japan they have got around 10% increase in Hp so far. Mabye more by now. The car is really hard to tune because Nissan did alot to it so people don't. Don't know why though
