@bassblank00 I use 16%. This video shows what kind of tan it gives me in one day. I have the ability to stay this color or go several shades darker, so I like using the 16% for that reason. Good luck!
ive always been confused about this. lets say youve put on like 3 layers, and i know youre supposede to exfoliate often so lets say you do a really good exfoliation like once a week, wont alll your layers come off? so then youll be really dark one day and then white the next? im always confused about that, cuzz then youd just have to build your color all over again.
@dallastx4445 In my opinion it is. Sun labs took too long to dry, didn't give me the deep, dark color I want, and has more yellowy/orangey undertones as opposed to Siennasol which has more reddish undertones (which is more natural-looking).
Yep, makes total sense. Hey, I'll let you in on a little secret, go to like Target or any local store that sells car polishing items, get yourself a chenille mitt (because it's extraordinarily soft) and buff your entire body when you're done. That will cover any missed spots/streaks/ etc., and once you've used this mitt many times, the tanner that's left on the mitt is just enough to go over the top of your hands with! I don't know why, but it's the perfect amount, nice and light for the tops
Yep, I do keep it in the fridge, the thing I did was order the mousse bottle, then I pour this into it, seems to not dry as fast so it gives me more time to work it in. I'm glad there's another person out there that also loves this, I've been using it for a long time now, was trying (wink wink) to keep it a secret! :)
@powerof3x3 I recently ordered the mousse because that's exactly what I want to do! The spray can get a little messy so I thought doing that with the mousse bottle would be great. Lately I've been spraying a good amount on a section of my body and rubbing it in like half way, doing another section of my body and going back to finish rubbing in the previous section, if that makes sense lol, I noticed it makes a darker color than just quickly rubbing it all in immediately!
I just ordered the liter 16% (extreme) and with shipping it cost just under $100 american!!! Yikes! It was like 60.99 GBP, came to $98.95 american to be exact. I hope this huge liter bottle lasts me a long time. It's not as good of a price anymore with our dollar being down unfortunately :(
@KissesAngelBaby All self tanners are different in one way or another. Yes this stays on for 7-10 days. Sometimes I reapply it everyday, sometimes I just use lotion, depending if I have somewhere to go and want my tan to look it's darkest!
Hi, I bought the 16% a while ago and I just tried applying it today. It seems like when I put it on it dries really quick leaving dark streaks on my skin from where i sprayed it. Do you have any advice? Also do you have to shower it off in the morning? Thanks!
@fbritney22 Spray it on one small section of your body at a time and immediately begin to rub it in, making sure you rub all of it in. The longer it sits on your skin before being rubbed in, the more likely it will leave streaks. I reapply this almost every time I get out of the shower. If i'm in a hurry then I will just put lotion on, but no I don't have to shower this off in the morning. Let me know if you have any other questions!
@haven1095 I have no problems swimming with it- it's a pretty permanent self-tanner! Although if you're gonna sit in chlorine for hours and hours, naturally it might start to fade a bit!
@SAMANTHASBEAUTYBUZZZ Unfortunately not. I actually just placed an order today. If you want you should go to the link in the bottom bar! They have lots of products!
Hi, I really want to try this product but can't decide between the 12% and 16%. Could you tell me which precentages you have tried and give me an example of each? Do you know if the 16% is really dark? Like Jersey Shore dark or...? lol Thanks
@fbritney22 I think it depends on your color now and how dark you want to get. I tried the 12% first and I really liked it but I realized I liked being the darkest it could get me. So I decided to try the 16% and I love it- it gets me darker faster and as a result I don't need to apply as much, as often. There's no orange color if gives off since there are pink/red undertones as opposed to yellow/orange undertones some others have. So all in all, it just depends how dark you want to get.
I also use siennasol but i got the 16%gel, this stuff is like magic ...you put it on its completely colourless and odourless (thought id been ripped off) but let it develop for 8+ hours and you get a lovely tan , 2 applications for a darker tan and looks great after you wash aswell ! Needs a bit of perfecting as its colourless
@AmericanHoney21 I know it does take a bit of perfecting, but i wanted the 16% one and i wanted a small bottle coz i hadnt used it before and the gel was the only one they had in a small size. which do u use the 16% spray ? i think i will order that next as i cant get the gel right on my legs. have you ever used a tan called ISIS its on the same kind of lines as siennasol i think but cant find any reviews on it , its a really dark one aswell ! Its on ebay for similar prices 1
@Littlemissjay100 I get the 1000 mL one I believe. It's a pretty big bottle that lasts me about a year, I just keep it in the refrigerator in my garage. I have never heard of ISIS, I'd be interested in looking into it but I don't know about changing to it just because I have zero complaints with what I use now! And I'm not sure what problems you have with tanning your legs but my 16% gives me such an amazing color on my legs and feet.
@AmericanHoney21 I dont have problems been useing tan for years its just coz you cant see where you are putting it as its clear its hard to judge my arms and everywhere else are easy ,defo going to get the spray for my legs, when i was looking on the internet for a new tan to use that was dark siennasol and isis came up and i went for the siennasol Just wondered if you knew what isis was like theres no reviews on youtube for it and little on the internet...really like the colour of siennasol tho
@Littlemissjay100 Ooh I see! Then you should prefer this spray since there is a color guide. I couldn't imagine using a clear self tanner, I would probably make a mess haha
OMG thank you for this video! Ive been searching for the best self tanner for ever im recently using Xen-Tan like it but still not dark enough for me and I have the ultra dark. I was wondering are you using the Extreme in this video or just the regular one? Thank you In advance! Im gonna order some just not sure if I want the regular or the extreme :-)
@BellaMomie07 I totally understand, I've tried all those other tanners in the darkest shades but was never really satisfied with the color because I like being super dark! I use the Extreme now and am using it in the video! This is just the beginning of the color development, it gets DARK! So I would totally recommend the Extreme. I used to use the regular Bronze but after trying the Extreme I'm never going back, you will love it!
@Tigirlyly No I have not. I tried the Sun Labs solution for airbrush but aside from not being too big a fan of the Sun Labs solution, I just find the technique I show in this video provides a more even coverage plus it's faster for me. The company uses this solution specifically for airbrushing so I'm sure it'll work fabulously! This is just how I prefer to apply it :)
@MiSsKaTieMoNsTeR I don't put this product on my face, I use St. Tropez whipped mousse. I used to use St. Tropez lotion and this stuff is much cheaper, I love the color so much more, it gets a lot darker, and it stays on longer!
hey , great video and really good tips , but i was just wondering , do you still use the sally hansen airbrush legs self tanner , i'm sure you mentioned it in a video before. thanks ! ;)
@nikbabe13 thank you! I will use the sally hansen airbrush legs self tanner on the rare occasions I will show my legs. If it is hot one day for some reason since it's winter and I want to wear a dress I will put it on my legs since it's more of a temporary thing.
@glitterlullaby I have to order it online since i'm in the US and they're in the UK. the link to their website is in the bottom bar if you wanna check it out : )
Ur welcome..Ya I remembered ur hair being dark in ur other vids & now it's blonde..I'd like my hair that color, but scared to do it myself b/c I'm afraid it might turn orange or something lol ..Did u get it done at a salon or do it yourself?
@BabyCakes343 well I use to be super blonde but I decided to dye it dark and it's taken a year to get back to blonde and I'm so happy haha. I had my hair dresser do it but I know they have boxed blonde dyes at drug stores that a lot of people on youtube seem to use!
Hey have you every tryed nitrile gloves
