  • Awesome!

  • Hurricane Katrina?

  • But will it blend? - Ofcourse it will blend it's a fucking hurricane.. that thing blends houses xP

  • @c0Nn0Rsts94 LOL will it blend ha ha

  • wHAT SOFTWARe

  • Wow

  • Nice! and cool to

  • its just a displacement map :/

  • @Capeau yep. no particles here :/

  • i love resuching wether and im only ten!

  • Nice to see hurricane Katrina there...

  • Keep doin watcha doin man!

  • Nice dude. What kind of a system did you simulate this on that only took a few days to generate so much data?

  • that was simply amazing... 5 *s

  • thank you very much

  • That was quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen.

  • Wow! Is this a plane with the weather used as a grayscale for displacement?

  • kind of...read the comments, I wrote how this was done. Thx for watching

  • @DragonsSpirit

yes just some displacement map and hes acting like its something incredible he did... not

  • Hi

I used multiple Emitters with different settings in case of temperature, speed and density (which depends on speed and temperature). So yes, in a way, there might be more than just fake in the simulation, as the warm wind streams flow above the cold and accellerate very heavy, as they cool down . I am sure that part of the realworld interaction between upper and lower winds and streams are simulated quite acurate. but all in all, this simulation is more based on given parametres.

  • That looks like Katrina's path. Is that piece of land jutting out in to the water Florida?

  • how did you make this?

  • I used C4D and Realflow4.

Fluids simulated in RF4 at extreme res., particles of the different emitters shaded with pyrocluster in C4D. That was how I got the 2D sequence. The gulf-map is simply a plane with a texture. I made a relief-object in cinema4D, 1000x1000 segments, and used the animation rendered before as dmap to make data evaluation easyer. It is like an animated 3D Diagram now. That was all. Only simulating was hard and took days. millions of particles. 0.86 TB of storage.

  • do u have a tutorial on this simulation? i have realflow 4 too. reply.

  • Eight hundred sixty gigabytes!? Holy mother of Chuck Norris!!

  • I do not know why it is like it is. ^^

But I wonder like you do. Anyway, thx for your comment. Gives me a bit of a hope XD

  • hmmm... 838 wiewers so far and no ratings or comments?

    anyway, great work! ;)
