this song used to remind me of a girl i used to date. she had all these issues and she told me her mom and her had cancer and that her mom should have already been dead this was about 4 years ago. a couple weeks ago i found out that that was all lies that neither of them had cancer. the emptiness that this song portrays is what it feels like to have had all those countless worrying nights and hours of contemplation destroyed with the knowledge it meant nothing

This video is beautiful. I think the director did a nice job, its really sad. She is expressing her love for him and her sadness because he is leaving. People seem to think videos need to be big budget and swooping over mountians and beaches to be a good video. This was simple and focuses on the emotion of the song which they show well through their expressions and body language. I love how the white room is supposed to be in his mind and it is sad when he wakes up and leaves her :(

I think this video did a fantastic job for this song! It is so heart wrenching especially at the end. It makes me want to hug my boyfriend. A good video has a strong emotional impact on the viewer and this one definitely succeeds and it does so all while staying in tune to the song.

I think people should give up on making videos for this song...no matter how good the production is it doesn't stay true to the song. It's not meant to be an event, it isn't an event. It's just thought and longing. You'd have to film someone lying on a bed for eight minutes, or looking at the ocean. And even then it wouldn't work
