i own all of their albums except 4 'back once again' go me! and 2 all those guys knockin these guys, esp loydbanks213, i listen 2 american hiphop 2, but these guys rnt tryin 2 imitate stuff from the states. theyr buildin their own style, usin complexity in their lyrics, nuttin more they can do. these guys are pure hiphop, without the whole gangsta act, and their lyrics r beta neways

Look on a serious note 90 % of your comment i can take, and i respect what you say "Ghuzzyr", but credibility plays a major part of what makes a rapper - i admit the Hilltop have got the passion and the heart - Flows are quite Concious however still need a tune up on the way they overlap bars - but when i here them try to tap into the streets??? - i its not beleivable - and how can you say their lyrics are beta??? they are only 1% as good as the great Nas escabar or KRS ONE

I agree the occassional american hiphop artist can show complexity (Nas, Em, 2Pac etc), im not comparin these guys 2 hiphop heavyweights. im sayin if u listen to the lyrics they use complex assonance n aliteration, n that they shouldnt b knocked for doin their thing. Like i sed, i listen 2 american n aussie hiphop, n the HOODS represent the pinacle of skills down under.

People in other countries outside the US always judge American hip hop by the mainstream shit, and not whats on the streets, theres an abundance of complexity and lyricism in every city, certainley way more advanced then these cats who in my opinion sound pretty basic on a simple jazz loop talking about all there ambitions in music and life which is cool. That is what hip hop is about and I respect that, but thats no excuse to compare us all to 50 cent. On these streets it's a struggle 2 survive
