  • Rice was fast he burnt many defenders, and that's a fact, I'm right,I'm always right

  • @Lsoto9992 Rice is the greatest

  • The only WR that stands a chance of being better is Randy Moss from 2007... that SB was Bull****, pissed me off. but anyway, go Pats!

  • Jerry Rice is da Greatest of All-Time..even tho he ran a 4.71 40 yard dash..he cud run past any defender...wayy better stats den anybody @ any position so far

  • Jerry Rice doesnt sleep with a blanket cause you cant cover him, Ever

  • Jerry Rice is king of all wide-receivers and Moss is a knight yet to be king of his own fans.

  • Jerry Rice is the G.O.A.T. and he wasn't the most most physically gifted receiver ever. That was Randy Moss.

  • @mpj32587 No No No No No NO!!! Randy Moss is not the most physically gifted wide out would probably be Terrel Owens.

  • @mpj32587 , Rice was the most gifted receiver, Moss was just a deep ball threat, Rice was a deep ball threat a short route threat and a running threat, Rice had 10 rushing touchdowns and higher rushing average than Barry Sanders and Jim Brown

  • @Tunes342 I said PHYSICALLY talented, Moss was faster, taller, had better hands, and could out jump Rice any day. Rice was a better all around receiver, but that wasn't what i was talking about. Moss was more talented, Jerry Rice even said it himself wiseguy. Do a little research before u talk next time...

  • @mpj32587 , Moss aint faster than Rice, nor did he have better hands, and he wasnt quicker either, I've seen Moss get caught from behind, Rice never got caught from behind once he hit top speed, and Rice had the fastest acceleration ever. Rice has burnt more defenses than any WR ever. He can out jump Rice, but this isnt basketball, this is football,so that isnt that important, you dont believe me, look at the record books

  • @Tunes342 Ur an idiot if you really think Rice is faster than Moss. Rice wasnt even that fast WTF are you talking about kid???

  • @mpj32587 ,Ur an idiot. How did he out run guys that ran a 4.2?Type in Jerry Rice goes deep and watch him outrun a guy that has 4.2 time, and also type in 49ers vs cowboys week 11 1995 and go to the 1:30 mark and watch him burnt eh Cowboys for 81 yards with his blazing speed

  • @mpj32587 ,"Rice wasnt that fast", who told you that, the media,Rice was one of the fastest ever, just look at the footage. Stop letting the media brain wash you, because the media says it, that doesnt make it true

  • @Tunes342 WOW! u are just making urself sound even more ignorant. Trying to say that Rice was a blazer. Rice ran like a 4.4 40 yard dash. He was the greatest route runner of all time, so it just looked like he was burning guys with his speed. When in reality he was just running precise routes and getting around defenders that way. So don't tell me the media is "brainwashing" me fool i know what im talking about. RICE WAS NOT THAT FAST and thats a fact.

  • @mpj32587 he ran a 4.71 40 yard dash..look it up..bu u rite he wont that fast on da track but he could run past anybody on da football field..Greatest of All-Time

  • @Tunes342 retart you better think again when you say better then barry sanders or jim brown.Barry Sanders had a bad offensive line that couldn"t block even having a bad line he was still the most elusive running back of all time

  • randy moss might be with him

  • the best!

  • wow, great set of pictures...BORING

  • jerry rice sir, you make our homestate proud. mississippi is proud of you and loves you man.

  • The Man was just SMOOTH!!!!!!!! Look up the word smooth in the dictionary and there will be a picture of Jerry Rice right there.

  • i hate the fact that he went to 3 other teams wish he was still here best in history wide riciever

  • i hate the fact that he went to 3 other teams wish he was still here

  • Moss>>>>>>Rice

  • @UnstoppableRandyMoss lol did you go trolling on all the Rice video's?

  • @UnstoppableRandyMoss honey randy moss was more of a stuck up inconsistent whiney little bitch, plain and simple. jerry rice after his rookie season was consistently the best receiver in the NFL up until his last year or two in the leagu... meanwhile if randy moss didnt get the ball enough or didnt like the QB or whatever he would start up the bitchin train. he would go from catchin to droppin in a snap. randy is INCONSISTENT, jerry was CONSISTENT and RELIABLE, and a TEAM PLAYER

  • @bbruner79 um a better team player yes....but better hands???nope

  • @FreshPrinceof973 i agree

  • @FreshPrinceof973 he definetly puts forward the most effort for a wide receiver

  • @FreshPrinceof973 you cant compare a wr to a qb or hb

  • great video loved JR except for the Raider portion of the video Niners rule

  • Jerry Rice is in my opinion the most dominate athlete since Babe Ruth,No athlete has totally dismanteled the record book like Jerry Rice.Broke all time td mark by 80+,he smashed the records like no one ever.He is the finest player of all time

  • @ravensjidfs

    ???

  • 49ners best team ever

  • i want those plain white/red nike cleats, those r pretty ill

  • greatest off all time.

  • So how come Rice was way more productive than Tim Brown when they were teamates? And we're talking Jerry being 4 years older than Brown, post-knee injury, and having to adapt and find his role on the Raiders. Explain that one to us, can't wait for your reply. And if somehow you come up with a good explaination, then we'll talk about when they were in their primes and how Rice was great no matter who the QB was and was a 10 Time First Team All Pro and Brown was a 0 Time First Team All Pro.

  • Im not saying Tim Brown could be the greatest maybe a hall of famer but diffinetly not the greatest. Before Jerry Rice went to the Raiders Rich Gannon was runner up for MVP.

John Gruden established a very good system in place & when the Raiders picked up Jerry Rice,Raiders got even better,Rich Gannon was NFL MVP.

Like i said before i think Jerry Rice is great i would not cry taking him on my first WR team,However i cant say he is the greatest when QB's have so much control over football.

  • I was responding to Oak14nd about Tim Brown.

  • can't say he's the greatest cause of his qb? on joe and steve highlights it's "yeah the were wouldnt be good with out rice" that train of "logic" takes marvin harrison out, raymond berry....i could go on.

  • Marvin Harrison first two seasons only averaged about 850 yds a season, intell Peyton Manning arrived than Marvin Harrison became a pro bowl wide reciever.

I believe if a reciever is great hes going to put up stats no matter what team he plays for.

However stats will most likely go up if the QB is great.

  • dude he caught 5 yard passes in turned them into 20 to 30 plus yards do the math''

  • Yep thats how he got 22895 yards, you do the math

  • How come arguably Rice's greatest season (1995) was with a bunch of games QB'd by Elvis Grbac, a dismantled offensive line, a washed up John Taylor, and Derrick Lavelle at RB? How come in 1986 when Montana was hurt for 8 games, Rice posted BETTER numbers with Jeff Kemp and Mike Moroski than Montana? Maybe Rice helped those guys around him a bit? Montana was a 3 Time 1st Team All Pro and 2 Time league MVP. He accomplished all with Rice and NONE without.

  • Oh 1 more thing I'd like to run by you. In 1997 when Rice was out with a knee injury, the 49ers ranked 17th in the NFL in passing yards and were tied with a bunch of teams for 14th in Passing TDs. During the previous 12 years when Rice was healthy, their average ranking was 3rd in both categories and never lower than 6th except in 1986 they were in the middle in TD passes (Rice had nearly 80% of the team's TDs through the air). Explain that?

  • JRice80fan

You know your stats & indeed you are a JR fan, however if im not mistaken that year Warren Sapp injured both Steve Young & Jerry Rice in the very same game?

Thats anamzing stat on Jerry Rice & im not denying his greatness but go to Profootball refrence look up Lance Alworth, that will explain were im coming from a bit.

Like i said i would take any of them 2 rice or alworth.

  • Incidentally Young was only out for 1 game that year. In case you meant that the 49ers passing numbers suffered because Rice and Young were out, Rice was the only player out of the equation for a long period of time.

  • Your right Steve Young was out that year(97) for 1 game.

However 49ers were 13-3,Steve Youngs QB raiting was 104,that was 3rd highest raiting over a 15 game period his entire career.

Seems the offence did not suffer to much?

  • His rating was good because he didn't take as many shots down the field, a lot of short completions. But look at his yards and touchdowns for that year. Again they ranked 17th in passing yards and tied for 14th in passing tds. And they were 13-3 because they had the #1 defense in the NFL that year. Rice never played on a team with #1 defense. Imagine if Rice stayed healthy that year. They might have gone 16-0.

  • 49ers team defence was actualy ranked 4 in 97,which is still very good.

NFL scoring in 97,49ers ranked 5.

I guess that was a weak year in NFL for scoring,im sure the defence helped with the points aswell.

But were are proving eachother both right.

Jerry Rice is great & Steve Young is aswell & they both help eachother to be even greater?

  • Jerry Rice is the greatest WR of all time without a doubt.

  • i dont care what anyone says Jerry Rice the best NFL player of all time.. he blocked he cought he ran and he even threw the ball every once in a while... no doubt the best NFL WR and player of all time the time spent with the others never happened... he was drafted by the niners and he retired as a niner...he will be in Canton, Ohio wearing the Red and Gold. baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lol u shouldve left out the raiders, seahawks, and broncos pictures

  • Pretty nice, a few from the early years would've been cool, but very nice. Btw, the Seahawks and Broncos shots, that never happend.......
