I don't see anyone on the stage advocating going to war with Iran, rather they (Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Perry) are offering some solid alternatives to going to war with Iran. I think Newt Gingrich's was the best. He advocates using the strategy of developing our own oil resources and competing with them for the European market. He makes a good point about using a strategy of energy strength.

The clear winners in this particular debate, so far, are Ron Paul and Rick Perry. Although their visions are different, they, and to a lesser degree, Rick Santorum are the only ones making any sense.
