those caprices and parisiennes will never be forgotten!! i have always loved those cars. and they have always been my dream car! :) i love the sound of the engine u got in there!
@dariowsky YES :D, they were a pretty good car too! its jus sad that they dont make them big ole boats anymore tho, cus they were kinda fun tryin to start in the middle of winter, especially if ya didn`t have them plugged in lmao!
@weiserbud67 A good battery at best will need 12 cold cranking amps to turn the engine over, but some dummies will turn the car off with the heater still cranked on HIGH..Not only will the alternator be slightly depleted, but it will also draw as soon as You turn on the ignition. Not to mention the typical corrodid battery terminals.
@dariowsky whenever i start my vehicle when its cold, i ALWAYS turn EVERYTHING off in it, (heater, radio, etc) and once its running smoothly, thats when i turn everything back on :)
@weiserbud67 my old man had an 84 Caprice Wagon with the 305 when we were growin' up..He sold it right before I turned 16 : (...I remember one day after wrestling practice I went to start up his Ford van and I had 2 buddies with Me..I couldn't hear the engine running, so I turned the key forward again and it killed the starter.
That has a 307 man you know how rare that is out of all 88 caprices made only about 8-11 percent were made with that engine. most of them came with the 305
What it takes to get from 0 to 60 mph?
