iommi had to keep the name black sabbath for his and geezers solo projects because of record pressures, neither of them wanted to do that, like i think they noticed this isnt the slightest bit sabbathy, i consider ozzy and gillan sabbath singers, dio heaven and hell and glen and marton are iommis solo work,
hmmm... is ozzy here... i am too confused.. this voice... hmm ... really good song.. but this voice... is so ... unreal and too good.. damn.. i like to live in 80.. maybe i ahve to kill my self and live past again.. all stuff is is so good and awesome 1980 and so..
The singer here is Glen Hughes, former bass player & backing singer for Deep Purple. Look him up here on You Tube. This is only one example of his supreme singing voice
Snore. Love Sabbath, but this song is pretty lame. Then again, this was not intended to be a Sabb song per se but rather an Iommi solo effort. Still, it's a yawnfest. The original video had Denise Crosby of Star Trek the Next Generation and Pet Sematary in it.
dno't tell that guy that tell him the truth its is DEVIL MUSIC and we will kill everything specially because Glenn Hughes is whispering in my ear that i must rape all christain women and betray god in my soul beside that invible man is fake and for to worthship god is WORTH SHIT
the song by sabbath titled black sabbath could be considered devil music, its an occult song, did you knwo the very tune from teh song was banned in medievel times to be played or sang because they said it was part of a spell to conjur the devil?
yeah i know that. it's only in just about every singe sabbath documentry on the face of the planet. don't feel special.
I was commenting on the fact that there isn't really a genre called "devil music" and asking the person who said they're glad it's not devil music what they would consider to be in the genre.
i know one song is talking abuot worthshiping the devil but the song is actually making fun of those who do im not really to sure if its off master of reality album or the first one but i love the song
To you maybe, but we, the fans, like Black Sabbath for what it really is, and not because Ozzy has a TV show or whatever. Tony Iommi and Black Sabbath all the way. Ozzy/Dio/Gillan/Hughes/Martin
Saw "Sabbath" on this tour, at Cobo Hall (Wasp opened). Glenn Hughes screwed up three or four songs, but it didn't matter. We were there to hear Tony Iommi play. And he did not disappoint!!! He is the greatest metal guitar player there has ever been, or ever will be!
thank you to all the awesome people that put all the killer music up here for us-- I never thought I would hear this song again except on my draggy cassette--pretty obscure ..alot of people never even knew this guy sang with Sabbath-- This is an awesome song
Seventh Star was one of the best albums put out by BlckSabbath. When Sabbath had one of the best lead vocals John Micheal Osbourne also co-founder & L-singer from 69' to 79' of BlckSabbath he was the best...I like DIO and Ozzy alot better w/out Sabbath. Glenn Hughes fit the best..:)
Black Sabbath is a Legend and we love them. Everyone should listen to them. They are one of our biggest influences. Our band Amaggot Bordir owes alot to them. We just added a new video today on my profile if anyone wants to hear something new and heavily influenced by Sabbath.
i couldnt agree more, seventh star and the tony martin years are highly underrated and all unbelievable recordings, i just found the ray gillen demo's for eternal idol, its too bad he didnt stay longer to show more what he could do in sabbath
When i heard this record(seventh star) the critics doen't like and talk trash about it, but i'm still want to heard it and the songs were excelent! well its not the black sabbath of ozzy, dio or gillan, its a new sabbath sound. different great sound
true, many people forget tony iommis effort to keep black sabbath alive, and great albums have been made by sabbath outside the ozzy era, such as heaven and hell, headless cross, tyr, dehumanizer, and of course the seventh star, which is an amazing piece of art, too bad not many people apreciatte this
GREAT GLENN

Are you a complete cluster fuck? Show me the documentation or piss off.
""It could be considered 'devil music'""?..??
What the fuck are you shooting into your arms?
It's just a fucking song.Black Sabbath is just a name. Get over yourself. GOD IS NOT REAL.
Some day you'll be pushing up the daisies along with the rest of us. Oh, by the way, my GOD has a bigger dick than your GOD.
On with the wars!

Isn't this sort of Hair metalish? Either way I like it. But the the 80's changed up metal.
