  • very well played love the tremble in the right hand, in the Maigret theme.

  • @twamley Thank you very much!

  • next time put doctor who in there

  • @Doctortrek1 Thanks. If I can find a good piano arrangement of the Doctor Who theme I will certainly record it!

  • Lovely, may we have more film music?

  • @pianodudeler Thank you - you will have some more if I can get the scores!

  • Thanks for that. Well played sir.

Always love his comment to Delia Derbyshire on hearing the finished Dr Who theme 'Did I write that?'

  • @peggymount Thank you for that. It's a shame he isn't around to enjoy the success of the revived Dr Who format.

  • Grand technique!!!

  • Thank you!

  • Marvelous. Thank you for sharing this.

  • @smcnicoll Thank you!

  • Very good you added the trem.-effect to the 1st piece, and you've done it perfectly! May I also add, that the bright colour of your shirt becomes you and your vid. :)

  • Thank you! The shirt was a mistake - but I noticed too late to change!

  • Wonderful piece and playing! Bravo! By the way, I (Salomon) like "Dr. Who" very much :)

  • Thank you Salomon. I'm glad you enjoyed it. You may be interested to know that a new 'Dr Who' actor has just been announced in the UK.

  • I didn't know anything about this man, Ron Grainer... The three pieces are incredibly fantastic!.. I especially liked more the valse...

Thanks for sharing! nice interpretation, Sir!

    Regards..

  • I'm glad you enjoyed them! I would be surprised if they were known at all in Argentina (unless you watch old imported British TV shows there).

  • I think I recall "Dr. Who" in the states. I believe it used to play on PBS here. I like the second piece best.

  • Thanks. 'Dr Who' is incredibly popular in the UK, although it has moved on from the original adventure with the Daleks in which Grainer's theme first appeared. That theme is not in my book - it is probably far too closely associated with electronica to work in a piano transcription.
