What probably impressed me the most, is he actually performs the WHOLE song completely without failure.

Most drummers record's bits and pieces here and there and put it all together and make it a song.

But if you play all of it like this, you'll get your personal feeling in it. Love it!

Really nice groove all throughout- I really like the cymbal work at 3:08 , Its been really awesome to watch morgan throughout his career. He was one of my earliest and first Influences On the drums for me, Theres nobody like him and I can tell when hes playing. @unlikeanyotherhuman i actually just recently got my first meinl cymbal. it's a 21 inch medium ride...BEAUTIFUL sounding and it crashes fantastically. i used to have a 2002 medium ride (sensing a theme here? lol) and it was my favorite cymbal until my uncle took it back. i think ill always be a sabian/meinl guy though. :)  although if i saw a real good price, i'd get some 2002's or some signatures.

Small timing error at about 1:20, but easily pro tools fixable. You can see him grimace a bit here as he notices the mistake, but he did an amazing job on this take. Anyone that's ever tracked in a studio can tell you that it's virtually impossible to get an entire song perfect in a single take. Morgan epitomizes the consummate professional drummer!!! So amazing.

morgan rose is one of my favorite drummers for sure but you can dis joey jordinson hes excellent at what he does and is not all blast beats you should here his own music besides slipknot and murder dolls its excellent and is not heavy drumming

All I can say is that this is what being a professional is all about.Anyone who thinks that they know what drumming is should watch this and learn from this.Morgan knows what drumming is supposed to be about; not overwhelming double bass and blast beats(God save us from whoever invented the blast beats.)This is tasteful. Drumming is first and foremost about keeping time, but secondly,it's about style and this man is oozing with it. You can have your Joey Jordison garbage.I'll take Morgan Rose.

@lismore21 Yes he is. Except for the blast beats. :) It's just my opinion, but I hate em. Neil Peart is probably the most tasteful rock drummer ever. I just can't do much Rush. Portnoy is also a genius, but Dream Theater kills my ears. I like him with A7X on Nightmare though. Very good stuff. Gotta say I miss the Rev Sullivan though.

@ragzy02 I'd agree with you, but each drummer has a dfifferent way of keep time. Morgan does it the traditional 1.2.3.4 way, and Joey does it the 1e and a 2e and a 3e and a 4e way by playing fast double bass to keep up with the fast guitar riffs and bass line. Perosnal Each drummer has different ways of keep time and they both good drummers, really, but it all depends on what you prefer.
