Hi.. I am taking a step by step study of your arabic training thanks for that...hmm is it ok if i can have voice chat with you once in a week atleast for 30 minutes,, well if its okie with u....if its possible it would be great. shokran sadiq maasalama
That means arabs lie a lot. Lol. I disagree, the arabs here in Singapore are probably the most annoying people I know. They're too proud and complain about everything under the sun. Lol. Thank god my BF who is arab and his family are like the rest of the world. =P
in my book it isn't nice to answer I'm good even if i'm not good, if you think about it, and it is a reality indeed that arabs have the tendency to not express their feelings whatsoever, which also is not good for human therapy, express yourself, if your not feeling good, just say it, and you will feel better
You made learning arabic quite interesting and funny . I love your facial expression . I never got bored . Thanks maha . Where did u came from originally ?
marhaba maha y dont u vsit al- hind m indian muslim and i want to learn arabic only from u coz u mk arabic soo simple for me i just watch ur vds n note it down to my book i hv watchd ur vd(arabic beginner 1 to 9) yet it hepl me alot ..sukhran maha sukhran for wat u giving to me
@Gamezpussy that's a dialect or a slang that most people that from lebanon or syria. Maha is teaching general arabic that can be use in any of the arab country
As-salamu Alaaykum Maha dear, is true Arabs are beautiful people and they submit never complain, my husband is arab from Saudi and he always say, bekhair alhamdulilah, shukran ALLAH.
I put your videos on for my daughter so she can learn a little Arabic. I have been learning for a while and I noticed the way Arabs don't complain and I love the Arabic phrase alhamdulillah ala kuli haal - thanks be to God in every situation, which you can say if things are not going well
haha yeah i'm arab but i only speak adeni (type of yemeni) and masri accent... it's nice to learn standard arabic! some differences are small but other's i'm like wtf. ahaha. :) thank you maha !
Always a pleasure to learn from you, very easy to understand and practice, very instructive :) Also, I love the little cute things you do, like you raising the pitch of your voice or coughing ;) lol, it's all great. Shukran again Maha!!! :)
@ARTiiKWiiNDZ Shlonich is 'How are you' (to a girl) ('shlonak' to a guy) in the iraqi accent. While Kaifa haaluka/haaluki is the formal arabic which is widely spoken. You will find that in every country in the arab world there are differences in the language as everyone uses different accents and slang. But Maha is teaching the formal arabic that is mainly used to communicate on newspapers/TV etc but also in person if two people speak different accents have difficulty understing eachother =)
This one of arabs never complaining on answer to a "kayfa haaluk"... it rings a bell and makes me wonder why. It's culture and psychology. It's good being positive but on the other hand it makes me feel as if they can't express themselves even with good friends, when...not feeling so good after all. As if the question is a bit stereotyped or means "hello" more than "how are you?" I came across something similar with British people saying "thank you" a lot even when not meant (or out of place)...
I just want to thank you for posting these lessons. They are great. I take it from what I hear that you live in Italy. Must be great. I do not speak Italian, but I am a huge Eros Ramazzotti fan because I do speak Spanish. I would like to learn Italian, but one thing at a time. Once again, thank you so much for posting these lessons. It is so much better than trying to figure it out from a book.
Thank you for the lessons, they are very helpful. One thing, is there a way you can get the microphone closer? I have to turn my speakers up in order to hear.
wonderful and so useful lesson , i know it was dedicated to those don't speak arabic , but i liked the way you explain , and i wonna confirm your nice words about arab pple , we don't complain if some body asked us about our situation , we answer : fine , thank god
