both good games, but wind waker is my favorite! It's the game I grew up with :D I was too lazy to get the triforce pieces so I would just screw around on the islands for HOURS! (eventually I did complete the game though, it took forever to get all the pieces though haha)

Gameboxfreak: No, they dont have a bunch of kids, or went in the temple of time. Good guess though. They are all reincarntions, every character in the games except ganon, who is a god, and forces himself back at will.

The Sacred Grove was confirmed as the lost woods in OoT, and is it just me, or does it sound like the Sacred grove is a dark world mirror of the Lost woods? '_'

some people believe that the ocarina of time setting is the past to twilight princess, but after 100+years when hyrule castle was moved (why the landscape changed) and why songs are reminicent to the origionals, look at the temple of time theme (the room before the actual temple) that has the origional choir-like singing. So some people think the songs were there with a reason

it's been confirmed that yes, Twilight Princess takes place 1-2 centuries after Ocarina of Time. That's why things are sort of similar, but there are of course differences

No, there are 14 Zelda games, all of the feature Link, a lot of them feature Zelda. In most of them, Link has never used a sword at the beginning. There's an entirely new Link and Zelda in most games (except sequels). They may or may not be children of older Links or Zeldas.
