@MrTonkacat i thought so too but i think thts tv ppl translating george's answer to japanese for the viewers... they g&e can't hear that, theyre just waiting
George is very polite with the press here, remember he used to write to Beatles' Apple Scruffs fans on a British paper when he was Fab, although he really didn't accept news manipulation by some journalists --as he states in his DVD "The Dark Horse Years"--, his critic about gossip and falsehood in the media were expressed by him with his tune "The Devil's Radio" --played in Japan concert's video and at the end of the song, George adds a message to the audience: "Don't be a broadcaster".
it's amazing that in spite of the Pattie Boyd incident Eric and George remained close friends- I think it just shows how wise George was and how accepting he became through spirituality/religion not to let little thing bother him
@QueenBeatlesWings I think George was just ready to move on as well from Pattie. He changed so much in their marriage. Olivia was a perfect fit for the "new" spiritual George. In the end I felt sorry for Pattie, she put up with so much from George but especially from Eric. Glad Eric is sober now!
@BL80488 true, Eric gives George that knowing look at 2:01 and George whispers to the guy on the left at 2:30- probably all bored and annoyed at having to sit there
