  • Agree, Z|ippy. I had the good fortune to interview Sonny a couple of years ago for a British blues magazine and he was exactly as you have described him... and with a really great, dry wit, too.

  • Not only is he insanely talented, but he's a really nice, unassuming guy - I've seen him at Jazzfest/Rock 'n Bowl in New Orleans a few times - saw him interviewed by David Fricke from Rolling Stone, and Sonny is a class act all the way around.
