  • I had a conversation with one of the guys in West London who was talking about holding the beans for three weeks to allow the flavor to settle ...... i'm having more of a conversation with him this / next week.... will keep you informed .

  • You may be right about the over thinking ..... but we all seem to pay a lot for things that have been oversold, be it cars or salsa. Recently involved with coffee conversations, now there is madness !

  • @magna59 I roast my own coffee. I buy the green coffee beans, almost direct from the growers. It allows me to buy high end beans from some of my favorite sources like Africa and South America at a very reasonable price. Plus I like my coffee roasted light as opposed to medium or dark.

  • I had the perception you were reviewing it rather than advertising it, it was more the idea that it arrived in a dilute, ready to go state, rather than was labled, add water to taste ..... so just a cheap ingrediant to ship at great cost ..... though may be it's more of a reflection of the quality of American product label legislation.

  • @magna59 I have the feeling you over think things, this was a simple review of a commercial salsa that I found in my grocery store. I've reviewed lots of salsas, most do not list water in the ingredients. I just read what's listed on the label.

  • 2nd ingredient water ? ...... very expensive way to get water .......

  • @magna59 I didn't manufacture this salsa, I just sample it and give my thoughts of what I think of it. If I like it, I'll buy again. If not I won't be buying it again.

  • Where were the snot bubbles!!!! Looks like you guys had a great time. Wish I coulda' joined you. Or is it ya'll? Cheers guys!

  • @sd4547 We had a blast Greg, it would be so cool to have all three of us together. My wife really enjoyed a visit from another New Yorker. Yes, in Texas it is ya'll ;-)

  • @tdjtx I may be in Dallas sometime this year. I'll give you a call... Or is it holler? :)

  • @sd4547 Ha ha, no it's call, I'll PM you my cell. If you come down, I'll take you to the Salt Lick.

  • @sd4547 Sounds like a plan!

  • Well there ya go Tom, we can now get our own show on cable!

It was super having the chance head on down to Austin and hang out for the day.

Next up - Bacon Wrapped & Deep Fried Funny Bones!

  • @TangoSpiceCompany Yea, it was fun Joe. I have a feeling bacon wrapped, deep fried funny bones would be awesome. BTW, there is only one pack of funny bones left and I'm sure they won't last the night. I also made buffalo wings with the Southwest Sunset Saturday night. Sunday I smoked some pork ribs with the Chick 'N Rib rub, both were really good. Thanks again.

  • @tdjtx So good to hear all the 'goodies' are being enjoyed!

  • How cool is that. Two of my favorite YouTubers in the same video. The salsa must have been pretty good.. You two kept chomping away, lol.

    Regards, Gary

  • @garygardens It was cool Gary, Joe is a great guy. It was a pretty tasty salsa, really tingled the taste buds.
