  • I have been doing Yoga a few months, and have recently managed to get myself into the lotus position. However, I can only remain in this position for about 3 minutes. I have probably been forcing myself too much, which isn't a good thing. But I am now going to try using the hip exercises which I am sure will help me .

  • I am fairly flexible but cannot yet do the lotus position. im only 21 is there really a serious risk on the knees, i dont want to get injured.

  • One needs to be slim and should have all joints flexible, to perform Padmasana.

    Joss, as you can see is "Slim"; observe his calf, they are like that of a teenager.

    If you have big calves, thighs, and belly (fatty or big boned (like eric cartman)) do it very gently.
