ok i have a aspire 1530 (i think) and it says its installed to the newest version it says its working properly but when i go on any web site it says it may be being used by a different program and it says that for any program i use.please someone HELP!

I have been on this problem for 2 weeks...and let me tell you that if u dont have ur computers recovery disc...you probably wont be able to fix it because the drivers they give u are not recognizing the camera...i suggest u use another software that lets u record and take pictures...Like idk manycam...

You might want to use Cheese instead. It is an Open Source video and picture tool that uses your webcam.

I believe i won't bother you after this I have an Acer Aspire One AOA-110 Netbook Or notebook whatever, Well I have problems with cam because when i'm on a vid call with people it's comes out to being extremely laggy, and the cam freezes after that the cam shrinks down and a green border appers around it. the laggy thing i found out is when i opened the cam and the cam was lagging off the computer it's self. PLEASE HELP ME!! I really want to fix this problem.

sorry that so many people are bothering you. i've been having the same trouble. So far I've tried using the drivers from the acer website and using them in compatibility mode since i am using the windows 7 rc. If there is a different solution that you could help me with that would be great. I am running an aspire 6930 on windows 7 rc 64bit system..

I have a acer aspire 5735-6155. When I first got the laptop the webcam worked fine. A few months ago the computer crashed, so I got the recovery disks and fixed the computer. Everything is working fine accept the webcam. I went to the acer website and found the 2 different webcam drivers for the 5735. Neither of them have worked. I'm really starting to get frustarted with my inability to solve this. Any Ideas?

the crystal eye webcam you have installed a software utility for the webcam its not the actual driver you should install the drivers of the cam

You have Crystal eye webcam program

but you dont need this for the webcam to work its just a utility for the webcam not its driver you need to download the driver specified for your own laptop
