  • Where can i find 2:40 till the end on youtube

  • @djoowtjuh well those are all clips edited from the movie Children of Men. That is like the last 20 mins of the movie compressed so probably no where.

  • @FORZION I kinda found it when searching for parts and it was part 8, my favourite part:)

  • is most of this vid from a movie? what movie?

  • @sourguy6515 children of men

  • Theo sacrificed alot

  • does anyone know where i can get just the bit at 0:18

  • @niallerz9693 it's in the movie. I think the dvd might have special features that show all the background stuff they did for the movie, like newspapers and news footage.

  • @niallerz9693 Drones - Rise Against

  • gay

  • @Rodolfsk8 you don't need to come out of the closet here...

  • @FORZION brilliant

  • I dont understand why they killed Julia and why they wanted to kill theo in the first place- what was the point julias their leader and theo knows noyhing about keys pregnancy so the mob had no reason to kill them from the start- apart from that, great film :)

  • @mike261265 which part are you talking about the mob on the drive? That was just a set up so julia and theo could be killed. It was a power grab by the black guy in the car. He wanted to be the leader and to have the baby to himself.

  • @FORZION and julia thought they could reason with the goverment but luke(the Black Guy) thought that it couldnt be peaceful and they werent making progress so they made a plan so luke can be in charge so they can make some unpeaceful changes

  • Don't question why god does what he does.

  • @trekie4111 why not?

  • the worst part for Theo is hes barefoot most of the time in the refugee camp

  • the guy with the dreads was a major asshole!

  • Rooftops from Lost Prophets?

  • yep

  • I never really understood the mob at 1:43. Did they go after them for any specific reason, or was it just a random violent act?

  • it is a set up by the fishes to get the baby for themselves. The man on the motorcycle is the guy with the dread locks who was going to kill theo at 2:51. Theo finds out when the man with the dreads shows up at the safe house with his cousin who was hurt in the motorcycle crash.

The Fishes think that if they had the baby then they could control Britain or something.

  • i think the fishes wanted the baby for public opinion, for political means, to be heard by the world. I think they killed Juliet because she wanted to smuggle the baby undetected into the human project facilities. Many fishes didn't believe the human project existed, they just wanted to launch an uprising against the establishment. I believe they blamed the nation-state system and industrial cartels for using the planet as an infinite resource (which led to infertility).

  • @RjWeapon

Well their foundation (the Fishes that is) was equal rights for all immigrants in Britain, even the illegal ones who were refugees from other countries. Kee, being a refugee herself and being the only hope for mankind they planned to use her baby as a "flag" to get their point across. Her being pregnant, they hoped would make the government recognize that the very hope for man kind may be in the immigrants that they mistreat and detain thus achieving their goal.

  • @MCitizen001

That makes sense, thanks, but the government could easily kill Kee and use a Brit as the poster-mother.

  • Juliet was all about the continuum. She wanted to save the human family. Notice how it was the women in the film who became protectors of humanity and workers of the continuum. Notice how the men simply wanted revenge. I would like to know how infertility set in. Animals were still able to reproduce. You'll notice more dogs and cats in this film than any other film out there. Once children were gone, literally EVERYONE owned a cat or dog... or both. You notice that?

  • the mob was a set up to kill both theo and his ex so that they could have the pregnant girl later u see the guys on the bike talkin to the black dude hope that helps crazedsquirrel

  • @MyFistToYourFace

Yeah, I watched the movie for a second time and understood fully. Thanks!

  • their savages they just want some fun :)

  • excellent

  • I never get why one of Rebels suposely a leader shoots the arab guy that was helping them in uprising scene I mean is just silly he does that even if the leader of them orders it I mean shouldnt they be worry about the military!?

  • I think he was just angry at theo, theo killed his cousin earlier in the movie.

  • Mindblowing movie but Rooftops? It's not Jonas Brothers bad, if fact not terrible at all, I could stand it, it's ok I guess but it doesn't work for this, Children of Men and Lost Prophets?

  • wow that's the worst place to have a baby

  • lol

  • don't judge the amv, just enjoy it, jeez!

  • the choppy effect suits. well dne

  • hardcore4republican, without woman being able to give birth it pretty much means the world is going to come to an end for the human race. Without children coming into the world to lead the next generation, nothing really matters because that means there really is no tomorrow. Live while you can and enjoy the moment because in the end, it's over for everyone.

  • Its over for everyone becasue we dont live forever and riots civil war dont happen the reason for all of this that is that people can not have children in movie is little stupid

  • During the part where he kicks the door into the 2 guys on the bike after they killed the girl, I literally cheered in the movie theater...lol

  • dude i cant blame u i was scrolling through hbo right on that part i stopped and saw it and and just kept watching rofl

  • basically showed the best parts in the movie. great movie nevertheless !

  • care to explain yourself?

  • look like world war 3

  • the most craziest movie ive ever seen

  • Comment removed

  • Eh, no. It may be an entertaining and visually impressive movie, but it's not particularly intelligent. Its central premise, global infertility, is highly imlausible, and the idea that it 'just can't be fixed' even more so. In the real world, science would probably find not one, but *multiple* solutions within a decade, if not much sooner (and you'd actually have a century or so to fix the problem, which is a VERY. LONG. TIME). The movie's politics and philosophy are equally shallow and sloppy.

  • The scientific cause(s) of the infertility are secondary, if not outright irrelevant. The story explores the possible social consequences of humanity nearing its end. The main character even mentions that at one point, saying that the world was winding down anyway, even before the infertility problem started.

  • The intertility isnt secondary on this movie because suposely is cause of all this!

  • At the risk of sounding like an unitelligent person in the wrong place, who really cares? It's a good movie, that's all we should really be conerned about. We should actually admire the cinematography, and style of this film instead of picking apart pointless reasons of why the concept is bad. Jesus, commenting on this is the same!

  • you didn't notice any Biblical references? The theme of hope? religion?

  • @12tomidnight you have bad taste sir.

  • @BoundHaven And you, sir, are an idiot.

  • @12tomidnight i smell a troll you loser

  • dude that part with the motocycle SWEET!!

  • Later in the movie Theo does the same thing to the same guy and he does a header into a hay bail.

  • That whole escape part is sooo intense!!

  • never seen the movie, but im hopin to buy it soon. it looks good, and movies like this, i feel their sorta horros, because it shows how bad civilistaion will collapse if somthing like this happens.

I guess other movies are good examples of this. i.e I am legend

  • I think if you know you won't like this video you shouldn't look at it and call it, emo and depressing, i thought the video was really well thought out so keep making them cos I'll keep watching them, thanks!

  • That person was mad because I proved them wrong on another video so they come and trash mine. I would remove it but it is funny. Thanks for comment!

  • Dude that was sweet... 5/5 + sub! lol keep up the fantastic work! ^^

  • Thanks I try.

  • aww I made you look like an idiot on another video so you have to come here and try to insult me. who is emo now lol?

  • I would respond to you if you made any sense at all. All I got from what you said was that Christians were molesting kids. Why don't you go back to Jesus Camp with the other psychos.

  • "Praise jesus for making you frightened, without your fear commies would be molesting our children instead of the christians."

wow... that made the least sense of anything i've seen or heard today. remember that whole "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" bit? well, you pretty much fucked that one up. way to represent for your religion!

btw, not a huge fan of the song but children of men was AMAZING

  • Im so sorry your name names 3 of the most worst things that could of happened to humanity!Especialy the first one and maybe not realy the second one for just like budha he was a man of peace...What happened to him is just up to you..

And also is emo supposed to be an insult? My girlfriend takes pride in being called that by others she calls me a mallgoth though since my hairs to long..

Wow your calling rap bad!CUNTry teaches people to put a boot in your ass thats the American Way/Way gay!

  • This is the kind of film that makes war movies redundant. This is as visceral and intense as anything you'll ever see, but the impact is even greater because of the immense story and message there is here. Every single shot is a panorama.

  • The thing which really hammered home was the loss of hope due to mankinds imminant extinction and what the child represented. great movie

  • thats why these types of movies are scary, but in a good way, because it shows how civilisation would collapse if somthing like this would happen. I mean if global warming fucks up the world to the point where civilisation goes crazy.

  • I don't see a reason for civilization going crazy just because women are not having babies anymore

  • That is what the book and to a lesser extent the movie is about. It ask the question what would happen if there is no more tomrrow. What is today without a tomorrow?

  • Infertility does not equal no tomorrow. As a species, we could (and imo should) explore alternative, more humane and civilized means of procreation, like artificial wombs. Also we should focus on anti-aging research, and on ways to merge with our technologies and move beyond the weak flesh. On the individual level, many people *choose* to remain childfree. According to your and the movie's logic they should feel utterly hopeless (no children, no future!), yet most happily enjoy their freedom.

  • Also, a lot of people still have children because they think they are obliged to, when on a deeper inner level they do not really want to.

  • like in the Matrix, eh?

  • Cause an end to the human race... that's something to be calm about.

  • i dont personally care for the song but the video was done very well

  • anyone know where i can watch this on the internet? because im a lazy bastard who cant be arsed to go into town and buy it.

we watched this for my media exam today but only saw the first 10 mins of it and now i wanna see it all.

  • watch-movies (DOT) net

  • hmmmm hmmm just drinkin mah coffee, *BOOOOOOM * oh SHIT!

  • but that's the amazing thing about the movie- it's an action movie, and never once does theo pick up a gun and start fighting

  • ye its sort of an action movie but its meant to be realistic, thoughtful and intelligent, not some cheesy american die hard movie, damn i didnt actually think ppl existed that liked those shitty cheesy over the top bullshit action movies, but i guess there are thats why they keep making them

  • Thats how America got started though. The average man picking up a gun and fighting.

  • what lol?

  • i hate u :(

  • Guns are largely irrelivant in a world with no future or hope.

  • I'm not exactly sure who's thumbing down this comment but I'm more than a little curious as to how having a gun would resolve human beings being unable to re-produce?

  • oh, and I guess the people who pick up guns in this movie are all invincible, huh?
