@infamousdrunk to simply answer your question, this is mostly my opinion, here is two reasons. When they made the anime it got lots of criticism by the U.S. saying how obscene it is and what not, also the English Dub was done so horrible and with a lot of misspellings. In turn popularity drops and sells drops and making of the anime stop. also another reason is they are just OVAs. Many anime out there never finish, but most Manga do.
