@WorshipInTruth I regret showin any bit of concern in this conversation...I shouldn't argue with someone who doesn't have any knowledge on this situation. Sayin' that the I.R.A are "falsly-motivated" and "killed more than the British" is something that would get you a restraining order from Harvard or the U.N Council. Go to shool and comeback educated in this situation, why don't you start by looking up history starting 800years ago. Then look who Michael Collins was 'cause you apparently don't.

@SA1933 Laugh, 9 times out of 10 it is catholics attacking Protestant Churches and Orange Halls. Cromwell was a great man, he was a military general, no murderer. Ireland had no problem being a domain of England until England became Protestant, the papist conspiracy has blanketed and darkened the whole Isle.

@WorshipInTruth Maybe you should read a little more of the Irish history, especially the six year lead up to the1922 elections and their results..Also, you appear to miss the forced evacuation of Catholics to Connaught by Cromwell (A God forsaken hell where there was no food and no arable land)......Once you are more educated re. the Irish Troubles you may reconsider your words (I myself am neither Catholic nor Protestant so have no religious bias, just knowledge of Irish political history).

@gawagney I am greatly educated regarding this subject and understand the wickedness of the fenians. Those Irish were taken as prisoners of war, I suggest you educate yourself as to incidences such as the "Portadown Massacre" which led to Cromwells attack on Ireland in the first place, not to mention that the Irish catholics were allowing the Spanish to use Ireland as a base of Operations against England.

Moses killed in defense of a defenseless person, the IRA fought in defense of defenseless persons and a defenseless nation. The British suffered...as most the world believes they should've.

The world isnt as supportive of the IRA as you may think, only dumbass Irish Americans (I myself am an Irish American) most of which are actually Ulster-Scots but they dont realize it, and arabs support the IRA.

@ScottishCaledonian It is a statistical fact that the IRA killed more people then the British military or the Protestant paras combined. The IRA were the real terror of Ireland and the protestant paras were just a response to it. I know all about the history, I am not supporter of the black and tans who was the fenians one legitmate greviance. You mean the great Oliver Cromwell who got revenge on the jesuits priests for their role in the portadown massacre and other terrors. God Bless Cromwell!

at the age of 15 i think this was one my favorite films and it still holds to this day. Well made. Jack Ryan is as synonymous as James Bond.

your points are valid however for me i see it slightly less about what they do and rather The character of Ryan and Bond as the lead roles in the series. I'm British and Bond shows a slight exageration of the British way in flemings ideal , And Ryan is Clancy's ideal of a CIA Operative/analyst. Ryan was a Military operative as well in his career. however i was very stoned when i commented, i had hoped it would be understood. as i do with this one . Thanks again for the upload Dude...

Great, tense and thrilling Thriller/Action movie. I liked Harrison Ford's acting very much but Sean Bean made this film - he was just brilliant!!! The whole cast did a decent job. I miss the 90's
