If you want to be a great singer, you can always take some instruction from a vocal coach. They are pretty much everywhere but can be a bit costly. I did take some singing lessons a while back as well. It's a good way to start. Also it's great to sing with other people like in a choir to develop a sense of harmony. That's what I did when was your age. :-)
